Typical chain experience. 3 stars — Went here because a relative wanted to go for their birthday. No one raved about their food, but no one complained either. Several got steaks, and the one next to me had to work pretty hard at cutting it. I had the baja chicken, which was grilled and the end of it was so grilled it was black and tough and tasted very burnt. The rice and beans were ok and they had definite seasoning, so that made it an ok meal. Definitely would not chose to go here on my own. Service was very friendly, but erratic. Part of the time we had several waitstaff around and then we would go a fairly long time unable to find our server. When there, very friendly and accommodating. It was loud, very loud, hard to talk to anyone but the person right next to you. If you crave mediocrity, then this chain is probably going to work well for you. If you are a more discriminating diner and want quality preparation, try some other place.
