This place is only a mile away from my hotel and is definitely worth trying for good indian food. I went there with only one objective in my mind to have some spicy chatpata food like salsa. But I entered and checked the menu and ordered rasam and chilly babycorns. My order arrived quite quickly and first bite into my mouth and I could taste true indian street flavours. Then i wished to order plain dosa but they didn’t have it. So at the end I ordered filter coffee and it was perfect to my taste with strong coffee and no sugar.
Not impressed. Food was ok, but I was on lunch hour ordering takeout and it took a while. It seemed like they weren’t used to carry out or didn’t have a defined process for it. Lunch menu very basic with very few items and no description or pictures. I don’t eat Indian a lot, so I needed to know what was in the dish to determine what to order.
Food is tasty, at least.. There are a lot of Indian restaurants around Centerville/Miamisburg. Persis is a growing chain, and the recently opened Miamisburg location is limited in size, ambiance and menu size, but the food itself is quite good. I can’t say so much about the service, though. When I visited, the restaurant was full, so I decided to order carry out. This caused confusion among the staff members. Ad=fter I was charged (and paid) for a regular lunch, I was then told I could not get what I ordered for lunch. So the woman who took my order handed me the menu then proceeded to take it back before I could say anything. The passing of the menu between the two of us occurred a couple of times, then I would get what I ordered. The lamb dish was excellent. The appetizer that was supposed to come with my meal, however, was absent. I understand growing pains, but this is the sort of thing that shouldn’t be too difficult. It’s worth a second chance, though.
