Its a Japanese steakhouse just a like any other. I like places like this its a fun atmosphere and if you sit at the chef bar you might get lucky to watch him flip food into unsuspecting customer mouths. The sushi is decent and the grill options are really yummy with HUGE portions. I am not a fan of the price but then again you get plenty of take home. Good restaurant for the family which makes places like this so popular. Enjoy !
Great place. I’m a particularly picky eater, having eaten at everywhere from Rally’s to Fifi’s ($50 just to sit down and get a water. Used to have the best quail eggs ever.).That being said, I love their Bento boxes, as well as their habachi. VERY good. The sushi…eh. The salmon is hit and miss. It’s stringy often when I order it, so I stay away from the whole fillets with sushi, but their sushi rolls are very, very good. The dynamite roll is a lot of fun.The service is good, and I’ve come to look forward to seeing some of them working. Only one of the waitresses seems to have a bit of an attitude every time I see her, but other than her, they all always have a smile on their faces and a cheery disposition.
Long wait for cook!. Very disappointed having to wait to fill table up before the cook will come over to cook your food,poor service,unfriendly waiter, sticky tables and this particular location is in dyer need of up grade very dingy and dated,by the way we walked out after waiting thirty min on cook after seeing two other tables that were seated after us get their food cooked,will never go again!
Best part was atmosphere and decor (sushi section), food was only okay and a bit pricey, our waitress seemed distracted and brought us unrequested bill and to-go box halfway through our meal…it was like they didn’t want us to eat there
The sushi is not fresh. Other than that place is ok.
The hibatchi was pretty good, as was the sushi. We’ll definitely come back.
