I’ve been here four times and wonder why I went back each time. Service, speed of service, & cleanliness are all factors in my decision to never visit until it’s replaced by a new franchise.
Absolutely Awful!!!. Cold food, poor service and high prices. Even Bob Evans has better food than this for the price and they’ve lost much of their market edge. Won’t be back.
Tall stack of indulgence. If your wanting to have sunny morning atmosphere than look no further than the Dayton mall. Marie scramblers makes you feel like your dining on a summer day. I tried the tall stack of banana nut pancakes and indulged to my hearts delight and so can you!
Very slow service, not very friendly, food was okay, small portions for price
Ate here one time; was enough to turn me off this place for good.. A couple months ago, when my actor friend was in town for about a week, we decided to give this place a try. I tried to be as enthusiastic about his choice of dining establishments as I could, considering that breakfast is, with very few exceptions (think The Original Pancake House), the meal I’m least excited about choosing to eat at a restaurant for, as I can make a plethora of breakfast options, cheaply and easily, right in the comfort of my own home.Nevertheless, as he was fresh into town and this was his choice, I complied with no argument. Oh, how I wish that I’d argued. We were shown to our booth by an inordinately attitude-laden young blond thing who might as well have been chewing bubblegum and, eyebrows raised in a classic expression of too-cool-for-the-room boredom, blowing on her nails. About ten or so minutes later, we were approached by our server, who I would’ve emphatically pegged as the same girl who reluctantly seated us, except that this one applied her eyeliner and blush with a heavier hand than that of our esteemed hostess. At any rate, my friend and I ordered the exotic, regional dish of bacon, eggs, and toast; and, about twenty five minutes later, were served two wholly adequate, unexceptional (save for the inflated prices) plates of same. My actor friend, who, for some reason (probably because he’s too lazy to cook even the simplest of fare for himself at home), can’t get enough of eating breakfast food at restaurants, was fairly satisfied with his meal (if the above describes you, then I’m sure you won’t be disappointed, either). I, on the other hand (who, again, looks upon cracking a few eggs into a pan, and frying up some rashers of bacon and patties of sausage as nothing short of mundane), found this meal to be nothing less than a waste of my hard earned money, and, as a result, will never darken this establishment’s door again.
We quit going. I’m always up for more breakfast food variety. The idea of all-you-can-eat pancakes is a delight. However, the food is a bit pricey, adequate but not special, and the service is always slow and uninterested. It’s nice to be able to add a single pancake to your omelette or eggs, but the price for just one pancake was a few dollars. Seriously? Why?? There’s really no reason to eat here.
WORST EVER!!!!!. Thought we’d try it out cause it had a pretty high rating. Seriously, worst restaurant I’ve ever been too. My scrambled eggs came out gray. When I asked our server for the same breakfast dish but with over medium eggs he seemed confused. When my new breakfast came out it was more gray scrambled eggs. I’ve never been apologized to so much by a server. Horrible experience, do not go there. Brave the wait and go to The Original Pancake House on 725.
