A special treat for my family and I on Sunday. We went to Smokey Bones in search of these famous BBQ baby back ribs. I ended up buying the Honey glazed brown sugar baby back ribs, the smoked wings with maple glaze, and the fish and chips. My daughter said the fish was not that tasty. However, the ribs were amazing. They were not falling off the bone, but they were juicy and very tender. I enjoyed the smoked wings. They were similar to the ones sold at oinkadoodlemoo, but they were not quite as tasty. The maple glaze on the wings was a sweet treat. The brown sugar on the ribs was just magnificent. I enjoyed the atmosphere we watched the Bengals play Pittsburgh on the big screen. Needless to say there were lots of laugh, memories made, and love shared at this restaurant. This is a family suggested restaurant bring your children and bring lots of wet wipes!

I think the food would have been better if I didn’t show up 30 minutes before the kitchen closed (1:30). They were in the shut down stage of the night. Lots of good beer on tap, they even carry crappy beer on tap (Pabst Blue Ribbon). Overall, I’d say this is a pretty decent place. Service was fast & friendly. I’d go back again.
Big Fat Fail!. We ate there tonight for a change of pace from our usual favorites and won’t be back.My daughter ordered the $12 turkey plate with two sides. The amount of turkey on the plate was enough for a good sandwich, but hardly justified $12. What was worse? Underneath the turkey was a smear of where there’d originally been broccoli – only she didn’t order broccoli. The waitress’s reaction was a slight gasp of oh my gosh I’ll tell the manager – are you ok? When he (finally) showed up what was his response? ‘Well they must have put the broccoli on the wrong plate then scraped it off onto (my husband’s – he’d ordered broccoli). I’m looking at the plates and they’re all the same size and shape and all the other sides are in little bowls, so his explanation makes no sense to me. No offer to make things right with a discount of some sort, no real apology for it, just a casual ‘crap happens’ kind of attitude as I’m sitting there wondering if there’s a ticked- off dishwasher in back who’s sneaking dirty dishes in with clean ones.What’s more? When she originally brought the bill she played up the survey on it where we’d get a $4 coupon if we filled it out online. That was before the manager showed up. When she brought back the credit card receipt? Surprise surprise! The survey slip was no longer there. Like I said earlier: won’t be back.PS: I’d be very leery of eating at a place like this if you have any kind of food allergy since this kind of nonsense is going on.
All Play, No Work. Decent place to have a beer and BBQ while watching the game but don’t expect to get any work done or surf the net while you’re there. They have decent WiFi as advertised but WiFi signal is only as good as the internet connection wihch never got above 200k.
Good BBQ,especially for a chain. Awesome servers. A little pricey, but fantastic coupons I.e. $10 off $20 purchase make up for it. Usually very crowded on Fri & Sat evenings, so we normally sit at the bar. Overall positive experience.
Gross!. Do not recommend this place at all! The brisket looked and tasted like steak-um with bbq sauce. The sweet potato fries were what they were….frozen. My husband said his ribs were like shoe leather and the beans were horrible. I’ll go local from now on for good bbq.
