Parkside used to be a really nice place to go. Nice atmosphere good food clean good service. But sadly I cannot say that anymore. My sister-in-law and I went in to have dinner together and from the lack of customers we should have known to turn around and leave, but it was her birthday and I wanted het to have a nice time. The waitress couldnt seem to answer basic questions about the menu specials, she brought out the wrong salad dressing on my salad. My entree order was also wrong and was not only cold but frozen in places. My sister-in-law had ordered a burger t hhhhhh at was slightly pricey as burgers go and had asked them to hold the bun due to a dietary restriction and what wasbrbrought out looked like a White Castle slider that had been microwaved as the cheese had sweet beads all over it. When the manager was called over she approached the table already annoyed and perceded to say that the burger of course was going to look puny without a bun, and then as she walked away she snidely suggested that the next time maybe she should actually try eating it first. We got up and left. Had it not been for the very bad manners of the manager we more than likely would have reordered and stayed. Now we will never return.
Norm!. Well, I’m relocating to Mt. Vernon, and immediately I was stressed. Not because of all the packing, finding a new job, general upheaval, but because I am leaving behind my favorite pub, the place where everyone knows my name. So, before settling in town, I started talking to the locals, and scoped out a couple popular establishments. After two visits, I’m hoping to make Parkside the new haunt. Just the pub flavor and laid-back nature I’m looking for… and of course, coming from Buffalo, I made sure they had a Buffalo Chicken sandwich on the menu.

Good food with a large variety for an excellent price.
