This was the worst food I have ever had. The California roll was the only item that was edible. We got crab Rangoon and it was freezer burn, sesame and Orange chicken that was bad shades of gray. I couldn’t stomach the smell of the dishes but my growing children all took heaping spoons full and they all took the first bites and spit the food out. I called to discuss with the restaurant and they weren’t willing to do anything. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
A great dining experience!. The word love does not describe how we feel about Chili Pepper Sushi Asian Fusion. Perhaps, addicted would suffice! The owner/chef of the restaurant is a genuine and caring cook. You can seriously taste the pride he has in his cuisine. We eat here at least once a week. Fresh ingredients..delicious flavors and locally owned…and so many Vegan options (Peppercorn tofu is the bomb!) . Please give it a try. It is a true hidden gem in Newark!
