Bland for a person who loves spicy food. This was mostly a miss for me. It was one of the more disappointing Chinese places I’ve ever had. My fiance loves Lucky Bamboo and used to get lunch take out all the time. I got the General Tso’s chicken and it was actually really good, but that was about the only thing. Their crab rangoons are different and not very good. Their hot and sour soup was awful. It was like eating nothing and a really weird consistency. The fried rice was very bland. Some people love this place, I’m not one of them. I think if you like spicy food you probably shouldn’t go here.
Wonderfully priced lunches that are available during dinner times as well. It’s one of the best for the price. The owner is very friendly and courteous. My wife and I eat there regularly and it costs about $10 total.
Very Average. Nothing to brag about, but my daughter says it is the best Chinese available in Newark. Had Take out order for 7 people. Service was good and the order was packaged nicely, but the food was bland.
Mixed review. I have friends who like Lucky Bamboo. I have eaten there three times. I must be ordering the wrong dishes. I’ll go again and get whatever the person I’m with is eating. It isn’t the worst Chinese food I have ever had – that was in Lawrence, Kansas.
