Incredibly diverse and impressive beer selection, delicious burgers, cool-headed/organized staff, and fun overall vibe. Family friendly, even on nights when the bar’s filled. Simply put, the team at Red Oak is very good at hitting the mark of what they’re aiming to provide for their customers.

Every time I go to Red Oak Pub it’s always a great experience. The food, service and atmosphere is what keeps me coming back. The service is always helpful and wonderful and the food is by far the best in Newark, must try burgers!! 5 star rating from me.
A Good Addition To Newark. I went to Red Oak while home on vacation visiting family. The restaurant seemed clean and the service was friendly and attentive. I had the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger with homemade potato chips. It was on a pretzel bun, which seems to be the trendy thing now. The burger itself was decent, but the peanut butter was not noticeable. I actually had to look to under the bun to make sure it was actually on there. I wasn’t expecting to have some overwhelming peanut flavor. But I did want some sweet flavor of peanut butter to complement the saltiness of the bacon and cheese and beef. The homemade chips were nothing impressive. It was decent food, but I won’t be racing back to Red Oak for a PB&B Burger next time i’m on Newark.
A great find in Newark, Ohio. The Red Oak Pub was a great choice for a late lunch. Since we had a dinner engagement, we chose to have salads. Mine was a worthy wedge, the only thing I would change is the bacon which was very thin and shattered. The California salad was excellent. Our server was great. I had to exchange my fork because the tine was bent up…lousy tableware for such a nice place. The patio is inviting and there are more than a dozen televisions.We will return for the draft beer…a good selection and good prices…and to have one of the sandwiches!!
YUM!!. Every thing smelled so good my stomach was growling before I even ordered! I had the Shroomn Burger with the Beer Battered fries and it was delicious! We took the kids and everything was wonderful from the service to the food to the atmosphere! I plan on going back again and again until I have tried everything on the menu!
Finest pub in Newark Ohio. Just the right atmosphere. Family crowd for lunch and dinner and fun crowd later. Craft beers are awesome. Get the pub paddle and try 5! Food and service are always excellent.Good food, fun times!
