Use to be one of my favorite Italian treasures. Seems like the food/service has gone downhill since the expansion. My lasagna was cold in the middle and when I told the waitress she wasn’t even surprised! Meatballs use to be so tender and delicious, now very hard and rubbery. I’m sad to say I don’t plan on going back
Dinner. Over all meal was fair not as good as years ago. over all a 6 out of 1015 Nov, 2014Garlic Bread. Was hard dried out and WELL done round edge.15 Nov, 2014Lasagna with meat balls. Was little dry but bottom was burnt and one of the meat balls was still rare pink inside I would rate this a 6 out of 1015 Nov, 2014Fettuccini Alfredo. Bland and tasteless from 1 to 10 it’s a 315 Nov, 2014Pasta Fagioli. Fair have had better
Not even one star! Terrible! My to go order was ordered an hour and half before I got there and still was not ready when I arrived. I ordered chicken parm which was hard as a rock from being over cooked and was smashed in the package! And if I could post the picture I took I would show the world! My lasagna was flat as a pancake and I ended up throwing it out! It’s sad to say I even worked there for 3 years! The new owners could care less about how to please their customers and serve good food. I know what the food is supposed to look like and how it should taste. Unbelievable! Never again will I recommend this place to anyone or eat there again! At least the family I worked for cared about their business and their customers!
Something from 1975 describes this place. Not real Good Italian mediocre service
My boyfriend and I stopped in one evening while my laundry was being washed at the laundromat next door to the restaurant (washing machine catastrophe at home). I was initially put-off by the outdated dining atmosphere. The place isn’t decorated very well, salad and bread are served in those tacky woven wood bowls, and nothing looks like it’s been updated in 40+ years. There are lots of old photographs on the walls (which are cool), but the frames are all cheap-looking, mismatched, and the glass covers need cleaned. HOWEVER… the cleanliness of the place overall is acceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this place for date night, but it’s suitable for a very informal dinner. The prices are pretty reasonable for the quality/quantity of the food. It was $10 for lasagna, soup, and garlic bread (no beverage), and the portions are large enough to have the leftovers for lunch the next day. The lasagna was good (I’ve had better, but I’ve definitely had worse… comes with LOTS of cheese) and the waitress brought a gravy boat of extra sauce to the table along with more garlic bread. The wait time was lengthy because the kitchen lost our ticket, but we had to wait for my laundry anyway so we didn’t mind too much.Overall, I’ll give it a B, and I’ll probably make my way back at some point.
Always A Favorite. My wife and I have been coming to Mama Guzzardi’s for years now, and it is one of the best restaurants in North Canton. My wife got a cup of the wedding soup and a half portion of the Pasta Aglio e Olio which was perfect. I always get the Lasagna, and it is always delicious. Everything we’ve ever tried from here was great! The atmosphere is kind of outdated, and the chairs are a little uncomfortable to sit in, but the food is worth it.
It was OK. It isn’t the best Italian food and the restaurant is outdated and a little dirty but for the price it was ok. The best part of eating there is the salad portions and the ranch dressing. My lasagna tasted bland and had no sauce on it. I had to ask our waitress for sauce which she courteously brought.
