Came in and the lady in front of me was so unhappy with her order she just walked out. First clue right! Then the owner walked out side to talk to her. It was a VERY animated conversation. He didn’t look professional at all. When I finally leave with my food the owner is leaning up on my brand new car! Are you serious!!! I get home and our food was horrible. We are NEVER going back.Don’t waste your money or time going to this place!
Staff was sooooo rude I called to place an order the person that answered the phone put me on hold then came back I started to order then I asked what my side options where and she asked me if had access online where I could go to the website and look !! When I told her I didn’t she placed me in hold again I was waiting for 10 mins then i just decided to hang up!!! Ill never call here again or give them my business !!!!
Fish and mac and cheese. The worst service ever!!! I went into your restaurant and ordered Boston blue and mac and cheese. the lady at the casher with red hair and African American responded and took my order. So I taken a seat and waited on my dinner the order was taken at 8:45 p.m. I was there tell 9:00 P.M. So I responded to go ahead and cancel my order and refund my money back and she said there is no refunds she points at the sign saying meals are $5.00 no refund. So my meal was over that price and she said the sign says NO REFUNDS after food is been ordered that came out from her mouth I been Chef,an culinary Arts for 20 years its sad to see in a family business going down with a bad name, in home cooked southern cuisine. its a business that should have love and interest in there customers and keep them coming back. If you had to wait that long for simple foods you would leave yourself. I know how it works your greens and mac and cheese is ready to go all you have to do is serve it its hot already and fish should take no longer 8 to 10 minutes. So I got my money back by ordering a carry out…. under a fake name so it enjoy your customer service. Here is a tip for you. back ground checks on your employers on your cashers. and experience cooks. or you the owner can do the job until you find someone because you will lose money on your Restaurant with that kind of service if you have a cook that only takes one order at a time. and unprofessional front of the house service. IT’S Ridiculous Behavior THANK YOU FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY
Brittany. This place is horrible!!!! We called them to ask some specific questions about the food and the menu and the girl rudely told us we need to go online and read the menu because she didnt have time to answer our questions. Our internet was out due to the weather so that wasnt an option for us. The staff is very rude and I will never spend a dime in this place after the way we were treated. Maybe you have to be black to get decent service. A co-worker of mine ordered fish and it was greasy and undercooked and her greens tasted like someone poured an entire container of salt on them. Avoid this place at all costs.
Inconsistent quality. Very rude staff. The grease is dirty half the time. Prices for food is decent. But, if u need to change grease more frequently raise the prices.25-.50 for fried meals that’ll help with the costs.
Love this Place !!. The chicken & Ribs are to Die for !Usually you have to drive down South (deep in the heart of Dixie) to find a joint like this !!!!They are open late night as well, and we hear they draw a HUGE late night crowd !Try the fish, chicken & ribs, You Won’t be dissapointed !……And don’t forget the Chocolate cake before you go, it’s the Bomb!
I love this place. This traditional southern restaurant is true to its name. I have never had a better deep fried catfish dinner anywhere else to this day.Wonderful service and a vast menu, you’ll be coming back for more.
