My 3 sisters and I met in Columbus, Ohio for Mother’s Day weekend. We decided to celebrate Mother’s Day with dinner at Lawshea’s. My niece, who now reside in Columbus suggested we support this particular local restaurant. Needless to say, the experience left a really bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Not just from the unpalatable food that was served, but also the horrible customer service, the food not being prepared as ordered, and finally a smart mouthed, chain smoking (so called) manager, who ran outside to smoke a cigarette and talk on her cell phone as another young lady was trying to do what this manager should have been doing…get our food orders right. We were very patient and remained calm and allowed time (an additional 40 minutes) for our orders to be rectified. We decided to carry the food out and eat in the comfort of home, even though there was no apology offered for all of the issues or adjustment made to our bill (which totaled $80). Some of the items we decided to simply cancel because of the amount of time it was taking to get our orders right, needless to say, once we got home, we realized we should have simply cancelled the entire order and went elsewhere. I personally will not patronize this establishment again. However, I do hope others have had more favorable experiences.
