Fan. Pasqualone’s Laplaia has long been our favorite Italian restaurant anywhere. The food is all chef made and fresh and innovative. The sauce is incomparable. The restaurant is cozy and the chef and his wife and staff make you feel like family. It is warm and welcoming and the food is delicious. The chicken parmesan is amazing. It is the kind of small, intimate restaurant focusing on wonderful that we love.
Wonderful Dining Experience!. Thank you to our waiter, Chris and the owners of this lovely restaurant for making me and my daughters feel at home for my birthday celebration! We were in town for the Equine Affaire and my daughters wanted to take me out for a special dinner. We found this restaurant online and made our reservations. We arrived shortly after 9 pm and since we couldn’t locate the restaurant in the plaza, someone came outside to wave at us while my daughter was talking to them on the phone…NICE!Dinner was delicious, service was excellent and the owners were very personable.I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner or special celebration. If you are in the mood for quality Italian food, this is definitely the place for you! Now if they would move their restaurant to NW PA…. :)Thanks again.
Valentine’s dinner 2012. We just happened onto the place due to staying in a hotel close by, and a fellow recommended it. Wow!..you’d better be hungry! The ‘bang for the buck’ was unreal. Atmosphere was perfect. Intimate. A third generation family attempt who still knows how to do it right, is all I can say. Yes, a little pricy, but then, you get what you pay for as they say. Highly recommend it.
We went here for special dinner and we had just that. The food and service was very good. We were one of two tables and our server was on top of everything. The only problem that I had was the appetizer’s were specials with no hint of how expensive they were until I got the bill. $20 for escargot. Again the food was prepared very well, my ladies chicken marsalla was really delicious. All around a very nice experience.
Best Italian Food in the midwest. My wife and I frequent Italian restaurants. We thought that Pasqualone`s La Plaia was the best Italian food we have ever eaten. The dining room is newly remodeled, and very romantic. If you are looking for a dining experience, this is the place.
Terrible. This is the 6th time we’ve gone there for my husband’s birthday. The food quality has decreased terribly. The waiter was very rude–basically ignored us. he was the only waiter. Never asked how anything was or if we needed anything. The food is not worth the price. The restaurant was 50% empty on a Saturday night.
Fantastic food and the owners spoil you
