Good food, but not much else. This is a little hole in the wall next to bob’s bar near graceland. its a great place to grab a shwarma and fries after a few beers next door. the restaurant itself is nothing special. its small, no decorations, and just kind of drab. the staff aren’t usually friendly and some have trouble speaking english. and the wait times seem to be much longer than necessary, especially when they are crowded. however, the food is always great. never had a bad meal here. I usually order carry out and eat at home. don’t forget to print out coupons from their website to save a couple bucks.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS = BAD EMPLOYEE. As of February 2011, Pita Hut has become a complete disaster. The quality of the food and staff has declined to the point that no one should ever eat here ever again. A new employee, the young 19 year old brother of the owner, has stalked women at bar next door i.e. followed them home, revved his car menacingly in the parking lot at 1 a.m. for a whole hour, tried to purchase alcohol when repeatedly denied, and has his young gangster friends commiserate at Pita Hut all the time.Only eat here if you want to be menaced. If you eat there often, you know who I’m talking about. The big block head with the two crazy eyes. STAY AWAY FROM PITA HUT.

Must try. Food/Drinks: all good and freshAtmosphere: Order at the counter. small, few tables, plain, cold temp.Service: GoodImpression: Fresh ingredients, cleanComments: One of my favorite places. I’ll drive way out of my way to eat lunch there. I have tried all the sandwiches and they are all excellent. I would eat a 10lb schwarma if they had it and still not be tired of the sandwich.

Awesome falafel. This place is great. Food is great (especially the falafel) and the prices are very reasonable. The employees are always courteous and it is very clean inside. Highly recommended.

Best Falafel and Hummous in Town!. I am a devoted advocate of this restaurant. Their hummous is to die for; the fresh tahini gives it such a smooth, nutty quality that is seldom lost under the beans. They make wonderful slaws and hot sauces for their exceptionally yummy falafel; I recommend grabbing a falafel pita with everything, including their epic pickles! Although I am vegetarian, the shawarma looks very well made (and is fabulous, according to the many friends I’ve taken there). And what’s best is this place is located next door to Bob’s Bar (the Cultural Hub of the Midwest, as is printed on their barstools), where you can take your food and tuck in with a beer and some karaoke. BTW, Bob’s Bar has one of the best beer selections I’ve seen in town. Go check out the Pita Hut and Bob’s for a fabulous night!

Outstanding falafel sandwich. This place has one of the best falafel sandwiches I’ve had. The hot sauce is really good, which sets Pita Hut apart from many Greek/Mediterranean restaurants, the tahini sauce is flavorful, and the fries are seasoned nicely. I also tried the baklava and really enjoyed it.Almost everything was great, but I did have a couple minor issues. The dining area, though well-maintained and clean, is a bit small. And the plastic cutlery was somewhat dusty, but easily fixed with a wipe of a napkin. In addition to the food, the service was also excellent. The food was prepared quickly and the staff was courteous and helpful. I will definitely visit the Pita Hut again and highly recommend it.

Gross. The place is filthy, they need to concentrate on hygeine asap. The hummus was pretty gross after watching the way it was handled. Never again will I dine here
