Friday night seated on time. Margaritas were good. Slightly sweet but fresh. Guacamole sensational. Corn-black bean salsa nice touch. Fajitas hot and plentiful. Service attentive. Good Mex.

Major Let Down. Chile Verde had been on my radar for a while and I finally decided to go for a lunch a few weeks back. The website made it seem a little more upscale with many different options, but what I found was a cheaper version of Vaquero’s. Truly disappointing food. The service was not good – I really believe our server was hung over from the night before. Not only would she not shut up about her 40th birthday party, but she forgot my friend’s margarita, she forgot our guac, she forgot our request for more water, she forgot to bring us the appetizer, then she brought my friend the wrong entree. When we mentioned the wrong entree was brought out, she had some other server bring an additional entree out as a replacement, which turned out to be just a duplicate of the wrong entree. What the heck! Truly disappointing service. I wish I could take the money I wasted and that restaurant experience back. I do not recommend.

Avoid. Place sucks. I guess the one negative of having no Mexicans in Ohio is that the Mexican foods pathetic. Not a Mexican in sight. This place is good if you think Tacos in a box is legit.

Surprise Visit turned out Great. We were in the Polaris area at Cabela’s decided on a whim to stop in at Chile Verde for the first time. Had great service, good margarita and wonderfully flavored fresh food. Definitely will be back.

Best mexican food. Originally coming from a part of the country with a much larger latino population than columbus, I have to say I’ve been mostly unimpressed with the mexican food here. (Many people will disagree with this, but El Vaquero is just not good.) Not the case though with Chile Verde! The food is relatively authentic and definitely delicious. Will definitely eat here when I’m craving mexican food.Side note: their queso is yellow cheese and their margaritas are just ok

I can’t believe that I’ve been going to El Vaquero for years when this place is right here in Dublin. It’s SOOOOOO good. I now drive out of my way to get their salsa. And the Steak Fajita Tacos are awesome, as are the Cheese and Onion Blue Corn Enchiladas. The Green Chile Stew is apparently 100% authentic, according to my Albuquerque-born-and-raised friend. My only problems: Why no Green Chile Cheeseburger? Also, the fish tacos were over-cooked and very mediocre on the one occasion that I had them. Finally, a shrimp option wouldn’t be nice.
