After visiting Cuco’s for the first time today I’m still searching for a Mexican place in Columbus that I’m really in love with. Cuco’s was good but not superb. I enjoyed their salsa bar, especially the pico de gallo but actually didn’t get to try a lot of options because my order came out so fast.I ordered the Don Cuco Burrito grande which was a huge, overstuffed burrito filled with rice, beans, chicken, and chorizo and topped with cheese sauce. The chorizo was flavorful and spiced nicely, but there wasn’t enough in the burrito for my liking, and the chicken was just average. The rice, beans, and cheese sauce on the burrito were all good, but overall it was lacking something to take the flavor over the top to be amazing. I was still very satisfied by the service and the food was pretty good…and anytime I can get a better burrito than Chipotle/Moe’s/Qdoba in the same amount of time for only $8 that is this big is definitely a plus in my book!
Great food, declining service.. Cuco’s is our go-to Mexican restaurant. The food is awesome. They seem to always be crowded and the service is spotty, but tonight (Cinco de Mayo) was a new low. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait for a table of 2 when we arrived and given a buzzer. We noticed that some people seemed to walk right in and get service, but I thought they were perhaps call-aheads. After 40 minutes, I went up to check and was told it would be another 20 minutes. I asked why and saw on the wait sheet they were not seating people in order of arrival at all. I didn;t get an answer, and then two people walked in right after that and got a seat, no waiting. Very disappointing customer service. I will think twice before returning.
BEST Mexican food ever!! The place doesn’t look good from the outside but the inside is a cool interior. But seriously order the queso. You will eat the whole thing! Also there grilled chicken is to die for! Worth the drive
Of all the Mexican places on the Columbus area I think this is the best! Great food, great value and great margaritas!
My favorite mexican in town. I love this place!Lunch or dinner, it’s always cheap. Service is always good. It’s a ways from my house, but I drive there for it. I get the chimichangas or the burritos. Great great food.
Best food, best service. Went to Cocu today had got amazing enchilidas, my frinds also said thier food was the best Mexican food of thier lives. Even joked around with manager and he helped me with my spanish!5 stars
Great Little Taqueria. Great good, cheap prices. They have a salsa bar there that they dont tell you about always but its always fresh with a good selection. I havent tried much outside of the tacos because theres many types and they are always good. My girlfriend a big fan of the burritos. Great place for lunch as it doesn’t get really busy during the day. They definitely need a bigger place though for the dinner crowd.
