Not authentic Mexican. Does it bother anyone else that the actual entree is served by the bus boy who has just cleaned up other tables and dirty dishes and returns with your food? Some dishes just not accurate as described in menu.
Okay for a chain. The food is okay, nothing special. We found it a little odd that the servers refer to the menu items by numbers instead of names. The food came out very fast, almost too fast. The food could not possibly have been cooked fresh, it must have been pre-cooked and just assembled to order. Our server was attentive and friendly.
Great as usual with El Vaqs. This is probably the 7th or 8th different El Vaquero I have tried and this one might have been my favorite. it is set up a little differet than the others and is furnished a little nicer. plenty of parking and all fo the staff were great. friendly fast and attentive. the food and menu were the same as all of the others. thanks for a good meal and experience.
We eat at several El Vaquero locations around Columbus and this is one of my favorite. Fast service. Great wait staff. Prices are more than reasonable with large portions of delicious food. Chicken is always juicy. Not dried out like other places. I always get the 171 el morro special with cheese sauce to add to the crunchy and fresh in house made chips they serve. If you like margaritas don’t skimp. Ask for a pitcher of Texas margaritas on the rocks. It will mess you up real bad. If you want good Mexican fare, no place in Columbus holds a flame to El Vaquero. A side note. Im not really a fan of the service of the Polaris location but Dublin and Hilliard are stellar.
I thought that in comparison to other mexican places, you got far less food for far more money. Nothing special here.
Great food . Great prices. Coupons are always available to use and that makes it that much better! Nice wait staff and quick service
