Very friendly staff, small town diner feel, good donuts, but the best part is the breakfast potatoes. Best I’ve ever had. They had a Dutch donut that has streusel topping and tasted like apple cider. Very yummy.
Good local donuts. It’s local, the donuts are fresh. You should consider going in, bringing your newspaper and ordering table service; for breakfast OR lunch. The folks work so hard, and bring something unique to Columbus. The buttermilk donut is the best. Lunch options look good too. They appeared to know many patrons by name and preferences.

Gone down hill with new add on. This place used to have the most amazing donuts. Now with the add on of the restaurant the donuts are way smaller. I’m pretty sure they are serving day old ones now as fresh. I went the other day with my 4 yr they gave her out dated miilk and her donuts were rock hard. Also I never got a refill on my coffee even though the wait staff was standing two feet from me
Great service, delicious donuts. The service at Honey Dips far exceeded my expectations! I had 40+ employees to treat and it was no problem on a Sunday morning for me to walk in and order 4 dozen donuts. Not only was the service prompt, the employees were very helpful and enjoyable! Unsolicited, they offered a bakers dozen as a special and everyone loved their donuts. I will definitely be back because of the great service, donuts, and it was affordable! Thank you Honey Dip!
Kevin is crazy. The donuts are excellent, the service is great, and the people are friendly. How can a mom and pop place not stand out from Tim Hortons or Krispy Kreme.I believe Kevin needs a donut palate adjustment.
Decent donuts; good price. I went to Honey Dip for the first time several weeks ago, probably around 9 PM, and bought a handful of baked goods. The first thing that I noticed was just how dark and rundown the place was. In now way am I implying that it’s dirty or unclean but it just seemed like no one had done any remodeling or improvements in there since 1978! That aside, the gentleman that waited on me was nice. All of the donuts that I bought were good (not spectacular or particularly memorable) and still fresh. Usually showing up at a donut shop in the evening is a recipe for stale donuts but I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness. I didn’t really try anyhing that made Honey Dip stand out from a place like Tim Horton’s or Krispy Kreme. Like I said, good donuts but nothing particularly memorable. I tried their baklava and it was okay. I’m assuming that they make it in-house. The biggest disappointment were the chocolate chip cookies. These tasted like something straight out of a high-school cafeteria. Defintely not homemade. Had a unpleasant generic taste to it. Will I be going back? Probably not. It’s sort of out of my way to make the trip to Honey Dip and, frankly, their products are simiar to what I’d find at Tim Horton’s or a Kroger’s bakery.
