Best Korean in Town. I’m super picky about my Korean food, since it’s my favorite cuisine. I had completely given up on finding a good place in town and I’d tried several that weren’t up to snuff. Then I tried Min-Ga and I’ll never go anywhere else!
Best Korean Food in Columbus. I’ve been eatting here for years. My korean wife has taken me to every korean restaraunt at every army base we’ve been stationed at over the years. Now that I am retired, I am a regular at Min-ga. The food is always excellent and the staff is always helpful. I almost always get the Ojingam Bokum (squid bokum) but everything is good. Each of my friends generally always gets their favorite. But there’s plenty to go round, so everyone shares. And there’s always plenty of kimchee and bean sprouts. This is my longtime favorite place to eat Korean.
Best Korean in town.. I’ve been going to this restaurant for a few years and I assure you, this is the best Korean eatery in town. Not only the food has always been fresh and delicious, the service is top notch. The lady server is nice, friendly, attentive, and has great recommendations as far as the menu is concerned. Not only that, they have the very best kim chi in town. The tartness and spiciness are just perfect. Their ban chan are spectacular and the atmosphere is very good. If you’ve never been to this place, go on and indulge yourself. It’s a gem of a place.
Good not great. Having recently had great experiences at other Korean restaurants I was looking forward to eat here based on the reviews. The good: portions are large and come with 9 tasty side dishes. No need for appetizers. The not so good: decor is bland. Looks ok for lunch but would never have a special meal here. Service is inattentive. They don’t seem to be really trying with the food. Makes me think of a Chinese take out.
I love this place! Delicious food, friendly service, reasonable prices, and a great beer selection. I can’t ask for anything more. The atmosphere is very casual so my wife and I usually go there for lunch or a low key dinner.
I am pretty straight with Korean food — I like beef bulgogi. Here it was great. Sides were all fresh, a total of nine. Good rice and plenty of it. The staff spoke enough English to make ordering easy, most of the patrons did not — a good reflection for a Korean restaurant!
Always good. While not an every weekend meal, I have never left here not satisfied. The menu changes a little each time I’m there so there is always something new to try.Worth every penny for those special meals with special company.
