I’ve always said Bangkok has my favorite Thai food but this place has very good rice noodle soup and tom yum seafood soup. Those two dishes alone requires several more visits to see if the other items on the menu are good. Most restaurants don’t serve quality food near closing time but no disappointment here. I will return.
Coming from india this is the first time I felt the spices blended extremely well, I ordered chicken wings, Tom Kha soup, Massaman curry. All the dishes were exquisite, and the portions were huge. The service was really polite and prompt. This is definitely going on my frequent flier list.
AMAZING but be wary. The tom kha soup is to DIE for. The Pad thai with chicken is the best I’ve EVER had. Went back a second time and ordered the red curry chicken, it was so spicy, and I eat spicy food, that I couldn’t eat it. My boyfriend ate mine. He had ordered general tsos (spicy) and I could eat his better than I could eat mine… VERY BEST springrolls I’ve ever had, little bites of heaven. Crab Rangoon where you can actually taste the crab. I love this place, even though I will stay away from their curry now.
Wonderful new Thai spot in town. Gave this place a try after the wife found a Groupon, which basically gave us $10 in free food. It took the spot of an Indian restaurant that we visited about a year ago. It is much more nicely decorated now. The place is kind of small but looked great. It was not very busy, but it was a weeknight. It smelled great upon entering and the hostess seated us quickly. Staff were very nice and they were very accomodating of our small child. We tried a crab cake appetizer which is odd for a Thai restaurant but it was pretty good. I also tried the asparagus and crab soup. It looked a little strange but I thought it was good. But its probably not for everyone. I had a basil chicken dish, extra spicy. My wife had pad kee mao with chicken, medium spicy. Both dishes had large portions (2 meals worth each), were appropriately spiced and had fresh ingredients. We loved our meal and will definitely be back.
Lunch with a friend this past Friday. We both eat a lot of ethnic and exotic food. I have tried many Tom Kha soups. this is one of the best! My friend did not like that it had chunks of inedible lemongrass and ginger but it didn’t bother me to pick them out. The broth was pretty spicy too without us adding any additional spice. For entrees I had chicken green curry and she had saigon noodles. curry was a little too salty but still tasty. saigon noodles were good with a nice curry spice.prices are reasonable and service was good.
