Excellent!!!!. Great food and service! Our server, Brittany, was attentive, pleasant, and very knowledgeable re menu items. Our group of ten ordered everything from the chicken alfredo to the prime rib and and everybody was quite pleased. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

Bad Food, Worse Service. I recently went to Cousino’s Steakhouse for my 21st birthday dinner. I had never been there before, but the menu looked good and it has good reviews on here. What a mistake!! It took ten minutes for a server to greet us, and she did so without apology. We mentioned that it was my 21st birthday and I ordered a margarita (she didn’t even card me!) We ordered the fried veggie basket for an appetizer, which was decent. As soon as we got our appetizer, she wanted us to order. We’re the kind of people who like to enjoy our nights out, not rush home. We told her we wanted to wait a little, and she seemed a bit annoyed. Not to mentioned that she had low energy and barely cracked a smile. For dinner, I ordered the fried shrimp, which was just okay. The breading fell off as soon as I picked it up. My grandmother ordered the NY Strip steak medium, with the potato casserole. Her steak came out medium rare, and when we sent it back, our server mumbled that she should have ordered it medium well, which I found to be extremely rude. When it came out the second time, it was still too underdone, but she ate it anyhow. I tasted the steak, and it had NO flavor. The potato casserole was disgusting. It was stuck to the bowl and came with ranch dressing drizzled on top. For my birthday, I received a free dessert. I chose the strawberry shortcake, which tasted like a freezer. Without asking if we wanted more drinks, our server brought the check. I am a server myself and know that more drinks equals a bigger tip. I would not dine at Cousino’s Steakhouse again, and would not recommend it to anyone.

Pretty Good. We ended up here after discovering that Mancy’s is closed on Sunday. Got potato skins for appetizer and they were plain bad…they were dry and cold and and the skin was burnt…pretty disappointing. My steak was very flavorful and cooked perfectly…will definitely go back, will just avoid the potato skins next time.

Toledo’s Favorite Restaurant. Cousino’s Steak House is considered one of my favorite local spots to dine. I often take out of town guest to visit this little hidden Gem. Known for their hand cut steaks, the eclectic menu includes grilled fish, steaks, pasta, salads and unique pizzas. A personal favorite of mine is the Southern Fried Beef Tenderloin – it’s a filet mignon, battered, fried and smothered in a mushroom gravy sauce. If you are tempted to venture away from steaks and chops, you will be amazed at how well they do Italian. Family friendly, date night friendly, mother’s day friendly, it’s the place to go!

Not Family Friendly. We have been eating at this restaurant for decades but in the past several months the quality of the food and dining experience (wait staff) has really dropped off. Today the food was cold or tasteless. Several dishes tasted as if they had been sitting for hours. The worst was that we were charged $12 for a child who ate a grilled cheese sandwich and a little lettuce salad. When I complained, the waitress added an 18% gratuity and said that the management didn’t care if we ever came back. Sadly we won’t be back there ever again.
