What the heck happened to this place. Received a coupon for $20.00 off for $40.00 dine in or carryout. I ordered carryout. I ordered the antipasti salad and the stuffed chicken with mozzarella prosciutto with a creamy pesto basil sauce. The salad was $17.99 and the stuffed chicken was $ 26.99. These were the smalls. While I was sitting there, I ordered a Blue Moon. I took a big swig and noticed a sour fermented taste. I said to the bartender, you know your line is dirty and the beer tasted sour. He said I know, I have told the manager and that if I wanted a different beer pick one. I said, are all the lines dirty, he said the blue moon and sam adams are the only ones. I said I hate to waste beer and I’ll just finish this one. When I got home I opened the salad. No feta, no gorgonzola and very small for a small. I think if you order a $18.00 salad it should feed at least 4. I had to add a head of romaine lettuce and only 3 of us were eating. The chicken was overcooked, so overcooked that they had cooked the cheese right out of it and if you looked closely you could see a tiny sliver of prosciutto. The best thing that I brought home was the little buzz from the beer, and the creamy basil sauce. I remember this place being packed all the time now it’s always empty during the week, I don’t know about the weekends. I should have just gotten the pizza. This will be the last time unless someone else is buying. P.S. they also charged me tax on a carryout.
Disappointing. Enjoyed the mini-tour of the facility upon arrival. Unlike a number of the reviews here, i actually liked the food. My problem with this location was the portion size. I dined at a Buca di Beppo a number of years ago in Indianapolis and remember how there was always more food than you could possibly eat. This time however, I was with my family of 4. We left wondering where the rest of the meal was. The pricing was for a family meal, but the serving size was more for an individual diner.
A very poor food and service experience. The Bruschetta was made with a mushy white bread and what seemed to be canned tomatoes. The spaghetti sauce was not good and there wasn’t much of it. And the salads – we ordered 2 types – iceberg lettuce! The server was conscientious but the kitchen must have fallen far behind. We we there for a leisurely dinner but there were long periods with nothing. Never going back.
What you get for carry out is way over priced. Need to carbo load for a race, live across town and looking forward for some spaghetti land meat balls. Had a good meal eating at the restaurant a couple times. We ordered a large spaghetti and meat balls for carry out, really looking forward to digging in when we got home. When we return home and opened the container we were VERY disappointed and mad we paid $32 for what we received. We basically got 3 good size meatballs, a whole container of pasta and VERY little sauce. So what we paid for about $9 dollars a meat ball and $5 worth of pasta. Had to open a bottle of Prego we had for emergencies. I hate Prego. I suggest you look at all containers before you leave because talking with friends they have experienced the same on take out.
Fairly good but salad, birthday wish needs improvement. My wife and I went for her birthday and had a good meal-bread and olive oil dip with great balsalmic vinegar added. Nice lemon butter chicken with an obscure name was shared by both of us. Great service tonight.Wine was good but pricey. Salad lacked good flavor and dressing, had much bitter yellow core in the mix. They sang happy birthday and brought a lit candle on a large stand, but no complimentary dessert…desserts were expensive but feeds 2-3 people. We would probably go again since the atmosphere is fun but order a different salad.
How can pasta cost soo much ?. I truly like the spicy rigatoni dish but, my word , the price for a lot of pasta with a little sauce and barely any chicken thrown in is astonishing. We all know the cost of pasta is minimal. Shame on you for taking advantage of your customers. Charge a fair price and you would have a better reputation!
