Great service!. I go here for my lunches, very affordable, the restraunt staff is very friendly and remembers me everytime! food is good, i laugh at all these reviews, true mexican food is not spicy. if you want spicy food you need to visit taco bell. i always get some form of carnitas, which are amazing there! hopefully they get thier new menus out so i can keep one at my desk, hint hint.
My friend and I are frequent visitors of the Cancun located in Norwood. We absolutely love their margaritas. They have the best tasting margaritas for the best price in town. We receive horrendous service during most of our visits. I just want to mention one incident that occurred last night. We came in as they were approaching closing time. We noticed a whole group of people who had full margarons. As we were sitting down at the bar, the server behind the bar told us that we were only allowed to order one beer. We looked at each other a little funny because we always order margaritas. He says we close in five minutes. We said okay and took the one beer he permitted us to have. I am completely fed up with rude and unnecessary nonsense that I deal with every time I enter this establishment. I would not recommend anyone to patronage this facility. The food is also extremely bland! When I think Mexican I think of something with a kick. I would strongly recommend they add some sort of flavor to their food. Thank you. Have a nice day.
The food was totally bland. There was no seasoning on any of the meats.
There are better places for your money. What I liked was that the service was great, staff was friendly and food was prepared quickly. It was also authentic.However, just comparing this food to other Mexican restaurants in Cincinnati (NOT even Mexico) there are better places. If you don’t mind bland beans or flavorless rice, then the margaritas and chips will make up for it.I’ll restate that it wasn’t awful, but if I’m going to spend an hour of my time somewhere it will be for good flavor!
