Good burger. The Pilot Inn is my kind of place. It’s a total dive with good food and good service. A steady stream of regulars were rolling in while I was there and it definitely has that neighborhood bar feel. I had a cheeseburger deluxe, fries, and a bowl of chili. $13.75 with 2 beers. It was all very good, especially the burger. Ice cold beer, too. One warning: the kitchen closes at 2 pm. I walked in at 1:55 bar time and almost missed lunch. Monday thru Thursday the kitchen re-opens at 4, but on the weekend you are SOL after 2.

The best BLTs hands down. I work nearby and all of the staff agree that they have the very best BLTs. Huge sandwich, even the single is…get the double if you want to splurge on calories and really treat yourself. The beautiful bacon is perfectly crisp, bread toasted just right and right amount of L and T. Their prices are awesome. They definitely don’t skimp on the ingredients. We’ve also had other items on the menu and haven’t been disappointed yet. The staff is super friendly as well. Give them a try soon. I’m craving a BLT now.
