Absolutely horrific! Went with a group of friends. There was nobody there when we got there, so we ordered a few drinks. We then placed our orders, the majority of us ordering pizza. While the pizza was good, one of the pizzas was not brought out with the rest of the order. When it finally did arrive, it was raw. We sent it back, and it came back about 25 minutes later. By this time, we were running a little late and asked not to be charged for this pizza. Here’s the kicker: small pizza, olives, mushrooms and cheese; less than $2 worth of ingredients and the manager goes ballistic! He even said he was calling the police and escorting us out, for which he never did. So much so that a party of 20 left as well, nice enough to wait in the parking lot to be a witness in case the police did show up. Crazy!!! Other ironic thing:::place not busy at 6:00 on a Saturday night??? Probably good reason why.

Stopped in for the first time today, neat little neighborhood spot, bar has a ton of old cincy related sports/concert memorabilia, bar tender was very cute and nice, now onto the food, the italian sausage hoagie, superb, pizza, superb, salad was also spot on, will definitely return….

Overpriced, small portions. The food was mediocre at best. I had the spaghetti for $11.50 and add 2 very small meatballs for $3. Never got a refill because are waitress didn’t check back with us after she brought our food out, don’t know what she could’ve been doing since we were the only customers in the joint. Kids got the pizza that had very little if any sauce on it. Skip this place and go to Olive Garden where at least spending $60 on a family of 4 is worth it & you’ll at least have leftovers for lunch the next day. I really wanted to like this place too, so disappointed.

This used to be the best place in the city to get pizza. But the last few times I got carryout my pizza was less then desirable. I have to remind them of this when I order carryout. I took my mother there for dinner last night and it was sad. I ordered the hot sausage hoagie and a large pizza. I had to remove 50 percent of the bread to find two lonely pieces of sausage. I’ve been ordering this hoagie for 20 yrs. now. and this was the first time i finished it. My pizza was delicious as it should be when you pay $20 dollars for a one topping pizza. When i brought this to there attention i was told things have been bad financially and they would take care of me next time. They’ve jacked the prices up and there quality has gone down. I hate to see this place go but with practices like this I can’t see them staying in business. SORRY.

Disgusting Pizza and arrogant management. Sorrento’s some how think that just because they claim to use all fresh ingredients some how makes it impossible for their food to be disgusting. I decided to try them out for the first time. When I ordered over the phone I thought that $9.50 for a small pizza was a bit much but because the person on the phone raved about how fresh and authentic everything is, I decided that I would give them a shot. When I picked it up, there was not one soul besides the guy who took my order and another worker. NO OTHER CUSTOMERS @6pm!!! Red flag #1. The presentation of the pizza literally looked like cheap freezer pizza what little cheese was on it was burned and there was puddles of grease on top of pizza. I called and complained and the guy was sooo rude. The pizza had absolutely no sauce and the guy thought that my complaint was so beyond him. The pizza was the worse and I mean the worse I have ever tasted. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They are priced too high and the service and quality is the worse.

Veggie option, I think of your blog as the bible on where to eat good vegetarian food in cincinnati, but I have to disagree with you on sorrentos and hope you give the place another shot. The owner came over to our table of 6 to see how our meal was and said that he was a vegetarian and the margherita pizza was his favorite. We ordered 3 larges: cheese, veggie, and margherita, and devoured all three. Id have to put sorrentos in my top five pizza places with pomodoris, deweys, noces, and donatos.
