Food was warm at best, SW chicken sandwich which waitress recommended was subaverage as were fries though pot pie was quite good. Must be their signature dish. Unsweet was $2.75! Drink water or beer.

Been there, done that… Food is boring… Service was horrible. Sat at a bar top and had to ask someone else to get our server so we could pay our bill and leave. Not happy with the food or staff.

Fish and chips with malt vingear.. The speckled hen and Guinness are great here. most of all you can get car bombs and such mixed Guinness drinks(black n tan etc). you have to try the Whiskey Pudding with ice cream, have to! Ugh. steak fries, I hate steak fries, no matter who makes them, ick! parking is very small out front so kinda have to park and walk. The Pub brown sauce is a very strange mystery sauce, but good.

Great fish an chips! Great beer selection! Sit at the bar and ask for Charlie!

Fantastic. Great drink selection, but the best ahi tuna I have had in awhile.

A solid pub experience. If you are looking for an expansive draft beer selection with pub food, this is a good Hyde Park/Norwood option. I’ve been going here for years, and the experience has remained very consistent. Consistently good. The service is usually quick and attentive. The atmosphere has character, even though this is a chain. On occasion they have had live music, a nice touch. I almost always get the fish and chips, and wash them down with a Belhaven Scottish Ale. I’m quite a fan of that combo. When I have tried other menu items such as the london broil, I have found them to be quite tasty as well.If you are in the area The Pub is a solid choice.

Wow, where do I start with listing what is wrong with this place? Salt is main seasoning and, although they offer ‘vegetable’ of the day, it’s a joke: my ‘asparagus’ tasted like it came out of the garbage disposal after a slow- nuking in the microwave… Pretty grim. The prices seemed pretty steep for bland pub food , so I’d recommend sticking with the drink menu at this frat – type place.
