The buffet is amazing. The Chinese Donuts are fabulous. The people are very friendly. Today was kind of crowded, but an employee seats you as soon as a seat opens up.

Excellent. I love this place. Its a small buffet. Thats a good thing. The food is always fresh and it tastes great. The scallion dishes are excellent along with lo-mein, fried rice, beef and chicken dishes. Compared to other buffets this one is different and stands out. Why? Because the setup is small enough so the kitchen can keep constantly pumping out dish after dish when needed. When you go to other buffets there might be 30 options or more to choose from and with some of the dishes they remain there for hours then probably recycled for the next day. When you walk into this place you see that the buffet canisters are small so the chef/cook will immediately bring out each dish every 3-4 customers that come in my opinion. I am not going to give this place 5 stars because the food isn’t 4-5 star hotel value. This place needs to make money off the $5.95 buffet and you won’t get seafood except on Sundays, maybe one dish on the buffet. I will give it 4 stars at the least, almost 5. I go there once a week on average and love it dearly being delicious and always fresh.

I had tried a couple other places in the area, but First Wok blew them away. The good tastes great and was piping hot when I got it home. And they gave out free donuts. Definitely going back!!

Excellent Chinese Restaurant. Clean, fun atmosphere, Nice staff, excellent food, the best in cinci. The only Chinese restaurant that has the best wonton soup, huge egg rolls!! Very reasonable. My favorite Chinese restaurant in the whole city. Trust me you cannot go wrong. Very professional, very nice family!!!

Meh. I was starving last night and ended up at First Wok. I got the spicy shredded pork with fried rice & egg roll ($7.95). I asked how spicy it was – she said medium. It was really hot – and the meat wasn’t shredded. That’s why I got it because I thought it was something different. Instead it was the same old fatty strips of crappy pork you get at chinese places. The fried rice was dry. The egg roll was fine. Won’t be back. It wasn’t horrible but the place over by the Walmart on Red Bank is much better. thefoodhussy.com

Don’t Try The Chicken Pad Thai. I ordered chicken pad thai today as a carryout order and was very disappointed. It was flavored with lemon, no traditional pad thai sauce or peanuts to be found, and the chicken was entirely fatty pieces of rather bumpy texture. I was not impressed by the value- a smaller takeout container than most places yet a similar price to competitors that serve much higher quality and quantity of food.
