Poor. Dirty restaurant, rude employees, overpriced and loud. There are so many better sushi restaurants in the city, skip Fusian and head to one of those. You’ll thank me later.
Overpriced with little flavor. I spent $17 for two rolls. I paid with a $50 and I was give $3 back in change. I questioned the cashier and she was convinced I gave her a $20. We went back and forth until she corrected her error. Aside from this, the sushi is subpar and overpriced. The taste reminds me of the pre-made sushi at the grocery you can buy. It’s a great concept and a chic/hip place to be, but I will take my business to somewhere that makes real sushi.
Love it. I love their sushi and how they try to mix it up with different ingredients to expose more people to sushi. Very glad that they opened this location which is closer to me so I can go more often.
Bottom line: bad sushi, too loud. I am from out of town, went yesterday while visiting my folks. I love sushi and have eaten it all across the world. I went in and had to shout to order my food over the glass barrier. There was a huge noise from music playing overhead. It was like eating on the side of a music club, bad for conversation. The cucumber salad was ok but I tried the yellowtail, salmon and california roll with various sauces and plain. There was no taste to the fish–and it was still very chilled. Trust me, you can have a plain roll of rice, fish and seaweed and if the fish is fresh and well prepared, that can be enough–but there was no flavor. On a plus side, I liked the sink in the men’s bathroom, very chic.
