What just happened?. First time in, and possibly one of my worst dining experiences! Food was mediocre at best, service was horrible! It took 20 minutes for a bowl of soup as an appetizer. I ordered a beer and would have loved another or two, but was never offered another. Our server was an absolute mess, dressed like and presented as something out of the twilight zone. The atmosphere is quite comfortable and inviting, but the kindergartners are running the kindergarten! When presented the check, the server was on the phone and frazzled and actually snatched my CC out of my hand, needless to say, it was an unpleasant experience.
Don’t waste your time ot $$$. I had the shrimp fried rice and veggie spring rolls. In my opinion the food was below average in taste and quality. The fried rice was extremely bland. It taste like they fried it in regular vegetable oil with no sauce and used frozen mixed vegetables. The shrimp appeared tunder cooked and blanched for nly a few seconds. The veggie spring rolls were soaked in oil, with no taste. In addition, no soy sauce, duck sauce or sweet and sour sauce was provided. I ate half of it and through the other half out.
Don’t go in a big group.. This used to be a favorite of mine when we lived in town – best sesame chicken I’ve had anywhere. We just visited again after a few years away. They’ve done a nice remodel and the food is the same. But I will never eat there again. They will not split checks and they add a 20% gratuity for parties over 6 people. They’ve also raised their prices. Service was not very good, definitely not worth a 20% tip.
Looks cool and trendy but the food is pretty much your average sodium heavy standard Chinese fare. Not bad just not anything special. The cold news is the prices are reasonable.
