My father used to take me to Johnny Hotdog over 45 years ago! Now, I take my son there once or twice a week to the Market. Our first stop is always Johnny Hotdog. The hotdogs are specially made for them. They’re raw(not previously cooked like everybody else) and never frozen. Grilled to perfection they are literally the standard in which to compare all others. My son will not eat anybody else’s. I guess this is why they have been in business and at the same location for 100 years this October 2012!!! It’s hard to imagine that a hotdog stand could survive the test of time of 100 years. Before the invention of the radio, TV, many modes of transportation, the world and other wars and countless advances in modern history. Yes, Johnny hotdog stand, A1 is just that! A-1 I absolutely love this place. There’s nothing fancy at all about it and they could use a facelift but, when you taste the hotdogs, burgers or food, you’ll enjoy it. Ask for Linda, you can’t miss her, she’s been there for almost 42 years herself!
