What a great intimate cafe! Over the last two months I’ve had the duck twice. Never a disappointment. Great staff with friendly service. Our server Bill was well informed and attentive….I just can’t believe the negative reviews…
What a terrible experience my girlfriend and I had on 1/23/2016 for dinner. We had reservations for 6:00pm. It took some time to get our order in but it was no problem because we were not in any hurry. My friends dinner was very disappointing she claimed it was cooked to long with a burnt taste to it a seafood crepe dish. The crepe was terrible she claimed. My duck dish was ok nothing to write home about, the only problem was the vegetables that were on top of the casserole duck was cold. We nicely explained to the waiter/ manager about our meals and he just brushed it off. My friend never even ate half her dinner. We had to flag down the waiter for another drink and order dessert. It took some time, but again we were not in a hurry and the crepes were worth waiting for. The crepes were very good. Soon as we finished our crepes and still had more then half a drink left for both of us. The manager asked if we liked the crepes we said yes and then told us need to pay our bill because they need the table there is 2 people waiting for it. I was so insulted, my friend and I stated we still had our drinks. Didn’t seem to matter. I have never been asked to leave any restaurant before because they have someone waiting for a table. We left pretty upset and disgusted. When I went to get my coat in the other room the booths were open and I did not see anyone waiting to be seated. I will never recommend or go back to Le Petit again.
Ratatouille was great and crepes were amazing small location but great food and service kid friendly and nice environment would love to go back again
Food wonderful, service offhanded. My wife and I made our first visit recently for an anniversary brunch. I was pokey in making our selections which, along with our being neither young nor hip, may have relegated us to our server’s back burner. LPT was doing a land office business at the time, which may have been the issue. Anyway, we had a marvelous meal. I had a Triangle salad and a smoked salmon omelette, and my companion had chicken and mango chutney crepes. We shared a nice, moderately priced bottle of wine. It is obvious that the kitchen works very hard on everything: menu, ingredients, execution, presentation. We thought we received excellent value and want to return soon, maybe on a quiet weekday.
Ponse to last review by owner. To the reviewer Big something or other – ( and I heard this was the case) There are some people that should just never leave their suburban homes and this was definitely the group. Young Trischa was out to celebrate her 30th bday with all the high maintenance of a 52 yr old menopausal Russian woman. ( and I like Russians). Her guy who wrote this was right therewith her in his manopause. There are people who dine out just to abuse the staff and can never be pleased. This group wandered in for an hour, so the meal could not begin until they all arrived. They insisted the food come out all at once, even though we have the kitchen the size of a small sailboat, and they had been told this was not possible. Then they complained that food was overdone ( again, food had to sit so other food could be made to come out on time). Then the food had to made again, of course for the prima dona. Then the bday gal had to open all her gifts in the middle of it all – let’s not add that in to the time table.I could go on and on – and so could our servers, dishwashers, cooks – we have never had anyone as rude and over entitled as Tricia and her man ( and I could add the exact names) come to our establishment. Actually, several of her guests contacted me with apologies of how rude this couple was to the management ( my husband) and the waitstaff after the party and how embarrassed they were.To you all – please stay home – don’t come back!!!Joy
Quiet honestly the worst service that I have ever had. We attended this establishment with a large group for a significant birthday for a member of our group. The reservations were made with the owner of the restaurants weeks ahead of time with the assurance that all would be taken care of. We were promptly seated however this was the only prompt item of the evening. We were literally at the restaurant for 4 hours with a server that was at best was rude and more truly was offensive. Despite numerous entres sent back, a manager never came to see us nor was an apology even offered. The food was average at best. I would strongly recommend finding a restaurant to spend your money at that provides reasonable service and actually appreciates their customers.
