There’s something quaint and comforting about Old Angle- menu is a nice departure from standard pub food, it’s fresh, interesting and tasty, nothing fussy about the place, good beer selection-it’s a a great European-style soccer pub. When friends are in town-we end up there more times than not
Great local bar and restaurant, we live a couple of blocks away, and prefer a good neighborhood bar with excellent food and service. As opposed to the many closely located alternatives that have sub par food, overpriced drinks, and a bunch of obnoxious douchebags running around. Old Angle has strong drinks, and great food. Try the buffalo basil wings, or any of the lamb items.
Lunch at Old Angle. The food was great, but the service was very, very slow.There was only server and he was the bartender and the waiter…possibly the cook.Definitely plan for more than an hour if you’re going for lunch during the week.
Great for lunch and day drinking. Good beer selection. I Recommend the flank steak wrap, and lamb stew
