Its always crowded on weekends! Make sure you bring your ID ! The whole variety of beers is reallyyy gooooddd!!!!! The pizza is good..The rosemary fries are delicious… You can go just chill and listen to music or play cards or other games with a group of friends…I recommend the Ananas Beer and the PassionFruit Beer! By the way they change the beer menu from time to time…. Fouadbach
If you’re looking for non-gmo full of flavor items then this is the place to go. The menu is clearly marked with gluten free and vegan and paleo options. Their gluten free bun is by far the best that I’ve had.
Hands down the best overall restaurant in the Cleveland area and way beyond. Not only is the food consistently delicious it’s healthy for you. I drive 70 miles each way once or twice a week to come here to eat it’s that good! Seven days/nights a week the Townhall is jammin
So I’m boycotting the Townhall in Cleveland on W.25th St. until I get an apology. The manager came out of the bar to the public walkway to manhandle me for street performing. I told him three times not to touch me while he was grabbing me and shoving me and my guitar. I told him again to get out my personal space. He then grabbed the neck of my guitar, so I grabbed his hand to get him off of me. Immediately he swung at me so I intercepted it with a fist to his face. All I wanted to do was play music, he wanted to treat me like I was less than human. I was told by employees that this was not the first time he’s done this to a black person (whether employee or patron). Later while walking to buy food at the West Side Market he ran outside of Townhall to attack me again. I don’t know if it’s steroids, racism, or poor home training; but he needs to be fired, and I need a formal apology. Until he his fired and or I get a formal apology I implore nobody else to spend their money at that establishment.
Two stars only because the food was good and my craft beer was only $5.. that being said, other aspects of this bar were terrible. Very crowded on a Thursday night, my group of 7 huddled around a nice outside fire. I strange man came up to us, talking very oddly and made us feel extremely uncomfortable, so my friend went and told the bartender inside. We were told security would come but no one came and eventually we grabbed another server who asked him to leave us alone but put all the blame on us, causing the guy to yell profanity at us. He was not kicked out and later in the night was caught stealing another persons backpack, chased out of the restaurant and was still allowed to re-enter after the backpack was got back! He should of been kicked out the first offense and especially after his second offense. Additionally I saw multiple waitresses taking shots with guests on the patio and my friend saw multiple waitresses taking shots behind the bar.. Seems like the staffing are all young and not professional in any manner.
Good good and fun place, but they are disorganized when it comes to an event. Went to the IPAlooza event and had 13 of my friends go also. I never received my glasses or my beenie for getting half way through. My wife and I drove 1hr15min twice a week to eat there and drink IPA’s. They card they have you to keep track out your drinks didn’t work. I had 27 IPA’s and it said I only had 12. I was told too come down the following week to get beenie. Drove down and was told they weren’t in yet. Gave name and address to have them sent to my house since I already had 20hrs of drove time going back and forth. Still haven’t recovered anything. Called multiple times and just keep getting told they’re sending items. So, me and 13 of my friends do not recommend doing any events that cost money because most of us didn’t receive what they said that we would get. Manager just tells you what you want to hear and moves on. This is the first timeI ever gave a bad review to anything or anybody.
I love this restaurant for having a GMO-free menu, the best place for people-watching in the entire city, and it’s organic tomato bisque soup. The flatbread pizzas and burgers are also excellent.I’ve been here numerous times and I’ve never been disappointed. We came here for our anniversary one year and they brought us a giant chocolate chip cookie that was baked into a cake pan with a sparkler on top! This place is always packed in the evenings, so reservations are highly recommended for most any evening. It can be rather loud inside, but the ambiance is still relaxed and casual and as I mentioned before, the people watching is so fun that it doesn’t matter much how loud it is. I always marvel over how this place seems to attract all walks of life, young and old, black and white. It’s nice to be able to eat out somewhere with diversity and such a great menu of food and beer selections. I feel like there’s always something for everyone here and it’s fun to come back!
