Excellent choice from your normal fast food options. I’ve drove by Skyline Chili too many times to not try it out at some point. I got that chance last Wednesday much to the dismay of my wife and her father. They wanted nothing to do with that place, but I got to have my way. Upon entering, you are greeted with a well lit, clean full service restaurant. We were seated and our waitress was immedietly very friendly. She brought us samples of their famous 3-way chili and small cups of oyster crackers. The menu is also more extensive than I gave them credit for, with items such as wraps, baked potatoes and coneys. Regardless, it’s still all diner food, but they did a good job. My wife and her dad got the baked potato and I got a coney and a regular sized 3-way. All items come LOADED with heaps of yellow (cheddar?) cheese, just look at the pictures. You’ll probably have to scoop some off like I did, but the food generally had good flavor. The chili/tomato sauce had a hint of cinnamon in it, just like I imagined it would, and gave it an extra dimension.Overall, I probably gave this place way more of a review than it should have, but the service was so very friendly and the food, for the price, was an excellent value, that I would recommend it to anyone else looking for a place outside of the normal realm of normal fast food places. So give it a try!
