Service and food. Thee worst possible services had drinks and ordered our food we were there over an hour waiting for someone to serve our food and nobody checked to see if we needed anything so we left enough money to pay for our drinks and left. VERY DISAPPOINTED
Surly Waitress. We went there when visiting our son and daughter in law. We arrived early in the evening but there were already plenty of people waiting to be seated.The person seating was friendly enough but we were in our seats for a long time before the waitress arrived and told us that we would have to wait 45 minutes before she could take our order as the chef was overwhelmed. As it was early we said OK and ordered drinks. Over an hour later the woman who had seated us asked if everything was OK and we said we didn’t know as we hadn’t yet eaten. She looked shocked but went to find our waitress who came with a very sulky face and informed my husband and daughter in law that what they were ordering was not available as we weren’t early enough. We did put in an order but still had a long wait and but this time (we were seated overlooking the harbour) it was getting dark and cold and we were getting bitten by insects so we moved indoors. We had to be asked for the table to be cleared and again our waitress sulkily appeared, having been summoned. Eventually our food appeared which was passable but not outstanding and the food was not cheap.I have to say that the adjacent table at our original location was served by a different waitress, a lovely college girl, who started off by pointing out the items which were unavailable and apologising and I would also say that on the whole, as an English person, I find American service very good Indeed.

We love seafood and prefer patronizing local restaurants, are more than willing to pay well for first notch service and food. This experience was a failure in every way including the unreasonably high price. We will never return!
Tried to give the resturant a second chance and should have known better. A year later with same excuses. New chef/cook and they dropped one of our meals on the floor coming out of the kitchen and didn’t have any more of that specific dish to cook. 1 hour and 27 minutes later we received our food cold and my salad has an egg shell in it, yuck. We won’t return for a third time, or recommend this place. The kitchen is the heart of the business…..it has a ripple effect.
Prices went up again.. $23.00 for a walleye or perch dinner? I had the walleye bites for $15.00. The was about 6 small bites in the basket. Oh and if you want a fish sandwich they are only $14.00. Somebody better get real!! I will not be back unless I hear that prices have gone back to a reasonable price.
Waited for a hostess for ten minutes and left. Mgmt is absent or clueless.
Such a disappointing experience. Today was my second time eating here. The first time was great! This time….I ordered a drink which showed up in 20 minute. Our meal, which came to the table incomplete, took 45 minutes to arrive and the appetizer showed up with the meal. Finally, the waitress had the manager stop by our table. As we tried to explain our experience, she just interrupted with excuses about new kitchen staff. She did offer to discount our meal, but upon receipt, got an insulting $5 off. Our appetizer was $17!!! Wish I could say I’ll be back, but I won’t.
