Porky’s horrible service. The food was good and the prices were reasonable, but the service was horrible. We waited over 50 minutes for 2 subs and a grilled cheese. There were two servers and one doubled as the bartender. They were all over the place and extremely unorganized. The bartender came to the table to take the order and we never saw her again until she delivered the check. She then complained how tired she was. If you plan on going here be prepared to wait a while for the food and do not expect the service to be anything but poor.
The food at porkys is excellent, however, the service is always more than lacking. Expect to wait awhile to even be noticed by the waitstaff, even longer for your food to arrive and don’t expect to get a refill. The attitude the bartenders and servers give is astonishingly terrible and more than rude. I’d recommend driving to Port Clinton before stopping here.
Good waitress. Great food with great value. Most terrible management we have ever encountered! Dinner for three on September 21, after the rush hour crowd, with only one waitress working the north dining room. Manager needs to come out from behind the bar and be a manager. Not a friendly atmosphere. These problems are quite fixable. We will come back just to see if there are any changes.
We have waited one hour and 30 minutes for our food. Very poor service people very upset. Poor management. Think the owner needs to reconsider his help
They have the best bread sticks (piggy bones) and cheap beer. I never have a problem but I always call my order in ahead of time
Customer was a;;. I was in porkys the night chris was there owner was joking bartender wasn’t even his wife tried to get a laugh. no sence of humar i guess and when you have a party that big your food will take a little longer kitchen staff does best they can. place is always a good place to be at even with kids. and the food is awsome! and if you where man enough to thump owner you would have just sayin.
Ignorant staff!. While in the Port Clinton area with a large group we were told of a bar/restaurant that had good food and dollar beer. Approx 45 of the group chose to go to Porky’s. The dollar can beer is what it is. The food was alright even though it took any were from 20 min to an hour to get. Our server Teresa worked her Butt off. As we were leaving, One member of our group, loaded on dollar beer thanked Teresa and gave her an innocent drunk Hug. Some ignorant a** claiming to be the owner came out of the back and told him to get his hands off his wife. After our group just dropped over a grand in the place a thank you have a good night would of been nice. If this was the owners wife,You got to expect this working in a bar or why is she working there. He is lucky he didn’t get thumped…… would’nt recommend the place….
