Welcome change. Having eaten at most places on Put in bay over the years, none really call me back….until now. My boys and i stumbled upon a great little waterfront restaurant called the Wharfside, next to The Boardwalk, with large portions and affordable prices. Unusual for PIB. our waitress was a real sweetheart and the view was beautiful. The boys had burgers and i had the corned beef – all was tasty and reasonable. The best fries ever!
Refreshing Choice. On an island dominated by mundane restaurant food I finally found a refreshing choice. Not many people journey to Put-in-Bay for fine cuisine though things are improving. It is nice to know The Wharfside Topsy Turvey is shaking things up a bit. It is a different kind of place kinda like stepping into the past. The people still seem to care and the food taste real like something you might really find on a remote island somewhere. I have had many cuban sandwiches through the years but nothing like their breakfast cuban. A truly refreshing choice.
