Social has a nice but loud setting. Their cocktail menu is pretty good and the Redemption was delicious. We all had sandwiches and each one was equally delicious. I had the fried chicken Reuben and it was a good new take on a classic. The lamb sandwich was terrific and I’m probably going with that next time. Our server was polite and quick with everything. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

Overrated and Overpriced!. Shouldn’t you be confident that you are walking into the front door of a resturant when you walk up? Well, Social isn’t like that. The door to the front is small and dark. I wasn’t sure if we were walking into the front or the back. And, because it was so small, if other people were walking out, you had to wait for everyone to clear to be able to fit through the tiny door. The place inside was alright, but still a lot of hype for no reason. I guess their mac & cheese is supposed to be amazing, however, mine was a day old and wasn’t anything special…a bit dry actually. My husband’s mac & cheese was $20 dollars! $20 dollars for mac & cheese with lobster, which was overcooked! I will say that the feta dip was amazing! Good thing that I got that before my tuna sandwich came out becasue that was way to salty and had no other flavor beside salt. They also do not have a kids menu, but did make my son a cheeseburger which he ate up but that doesn’t say much. I would say save your money and this overpriced resturant. You will be able to make a better mac & cheese at home. Overrated for sure!
I’m sad this restaurant doesn’t have better reviews. Our server was very helpful, attentive, and polite. The food was out to us quickly and was good! We will come again
I don’t understand why reviews are not a lot higher. Just in town for a weekend. Had such a wonderful meal on Sat night went back on Sun. The pork chop was superb. The Ahi sandwich was also very very good. Others at our table also were very impressed. Prices were very reasonable and I liked the ambiance and service. Hope this place does well so I can go next time I’m back in town.
Had a great experience here last night for dinner and drinks. The calamari was very good, and my sea bass was delicious. The server was knowledgable and attentive and the pacing of the meal was pretty good (maybe a touch fast but I was on a date so I’m probably biased – if the date had been awful I’d be saying the pace was too slow!). I’d definitely return and I’d recommend Social to friends.
Good addition for Toledo area. Good craft beer selection. No Michigan breweries though? I ordered short rib tacos as an ap and it was very good. Main course ordered the stuffed peppers and really liked them. Good atmosphere and similar to other gastropubs found in big cities.
