I took my Dad there as a Christmas treat. He loves Eggplant Parm and Calamari! I told him BiAggi’s has excellent on both accounts. They did not disappoint! The food was yummy! Service was ok, atmosphere was really pretty, but it was very nasty outside, and where we were sat, everytime the door was opened a gust if ice cold wind came through! It took a bit away from the overall experience, but in the whole a nice evening! One last note, I had the shrimp cannelloni, it was divine! 🙂
Do you lose your chef?. My husband and I dined recently at Biaggi’s in Perrysburg Ohio. We have dined there many times, but this last time the meals had definitely gone downhill. My meal was actually inedible. The pasta was quite chewy, the whole meal was covered with way too many bread crumbs, and the sauce was watery and tasteless. I ordered the soup and the usually delicious item was again watery and lacking taste. I had the bread pudding for dessert. The bread was loosely packed crust cubes and very dry. A very small amount of sauce was on the bottom rather that over the top.My husband’s meal was a special. A trio of Italian favorites. He was also very disappointed as the lasagna was mushy and not up to standards, the ravioli was chewy and had very little sauce, and the chicken parmesan wason the dry side and, again, little sauce.We were very surprised that the quality which we had always come to expect at Biaggis was considerably diminished.
Awesome Place. Food was excellent. A lot better than Olive Garden and I love Olive Garden. Place is great and waitstaff did an excellent job. Great place to go for a date or after you are done shopping. Excellent wine selection and the steak is excellent.
I went there for a date and loved it! The atmosphere is very classy and the service was perfect everyone was friendly and we were well taken care of. The food came within a decent time and was extremely good, I got the butternut squash raviolis.
Better Than Average. The summer squash ravs were a big hit with my wife and daughter. The chicken cannelloni was good, and the lasagna was nothing special (my wife makes much better). Good wine selection and great service. We tasted 3 wines before making our selection. Overall, considering the prices, service, and food, we rate this place as a strong OK. If you’re looking for a GREAT Italian meal, keep looking.
The best service and great food! They were very accommodating with my large group from my graduation. I will definitely make the trip up again any time I’m in bg. The mussels appetizer was the bomb.
The best Itallian in the Toledo area in my opinion. The service and food are always amazing, I’ve never had a bad meal here. The seafood canneloni is a favorite.
