Mediocre expensive food and poor service. I had to wait 2 hours before getting my first roll of sushi. Mean while the entire table had finished their habachi. Was told that the sushi chef’s were busy but I did not really see that from where I was sitting. The waitress kept apologizing but never asked if I wanted to just order something else. The manager did come and apologize but that happened after waiting 2 hours. I came back a few weeks ago due to a business dinner (not my choice). Again, long wait on sushi however this time I did get it within an hour. Was not worth the wait. Will not be back!
Above average food, service, and prices. We enjoyed our trip to Nagoya and this is the 4th visit to this restaurant. I really enjoy the sushi and they have created some nice rolls. The wok is also great and the chef’s always entertaining. I enjoy the plating and presentation of their food as well. Place is generally busy so plan ahead…beware of the drink prices, a little high but I guess they are aiming for a different clientel. They really have some nice seafood and chicken dishes. We would go back!
YES!. This is the way hibatchi should be. great food, awesome sushi, my anti seafood wife LOVED IT. service could be a bit on the nicer side. they are very pushy, and have no problem giving away your reservation if you even a minute or 2 late. but reguardless, the seats are full. make a reservation and dont be late! you will miss out on a great experience and very very good food.
Definitely not the best sushi I’ve ever had but it was decent. It was rather Americanized though with rich sauces splattered on top of all the rolls. I’ll go back again because I have a groupon but I prefer Kotobuki or Kyoto ka for their authenticity.
Went for just sushi and it was fabulous! We had the jersey roll, the home depot roll, and the best roll I think I’ve ever had, the queen and I roll! FYI there is no starter salad before the sushi so get an appetizer if that’s what you are used to.
Superb Sushi fun atmosphere. I have been to Nagoya a handfull of times and I will continue to go back. Although the service was not wonderful the food is far above any sushi place in the greater Toledo area. Nagoya and Yummi Yummi Rolls are my favorite!
