It was a nice experience. We went in there for a sushi roll. They sat us at the bar, served us salad and soup with the sushi roll, which was a first for us. We got a warm towel prior to our food arriving. It seemed very family oriented which is nice. We have been talking about how we need to go back and try the hibachi experience. The sushi was fresh, delicious, and exactly what we would expect from a good sushi restaurant.
Absolutely Loved It. Well for starters the service was exceptional. The starters were great, I particularly enjoyed the mushroom soup. I ordered the filet mignon w/ steamed rice. The entree was roughly $24, so it was a typical price for a main dish. The chef was very charismatic and quite good at cooking and putting on a show at the same time. He cooked my steak to my request perfectly. The steak was a bit under seasoned but after mixing it in with the steamed rice, yum yum sauce, and grilled vegetables it tasted exceptional. After everyone had been served the chef even offered me some of the leftover fried rice, which seemed generous to me. After the entree, I ordered a spicy tuna roll i loved the soy sauce that came with it, it tasted hearty and was delicious. The sushi roll was rolled perfectly and the rice was tasty. Overall the experience was definitely one to remember and i will definitely come back.
As a previous restaraunt owner I am reluctant to be critical. It’s a tough business! we celebrated our Granddaughter’s 6th. Birthday on Feb. 2nd. I read some bad reviews previous to going. I should have listened. Everyones food was way over cooked. We asked for chopsticKs and never got them. The chef was very fun! His food wasnt! Even the fried rice was overcooked and crunchy. simply just sucked! Watching my Grandbaby’s face when chef light the flame was priceless:)
Never again! This place was a waste of time and money! Sushi was small and tasteless.
I went here for my birthday and it was the best meal ever. The food was great, the service was great and the employees were awesome. I would highly recommend Iron Chef!
Delicious Food but Preferential Treatment. On whole, this is a wonderful place to have dinner. Servers were timely, and the food was delicious! The only problem for us is that the women at our table were for the most part ignored. The men were given free beers and the women just seated had their water glasses immediately removed from the table. When asked why this happened, the servers shrugged their shoulders and whispered amongst themselves. Oh, and they refused to bring us our water even when we asked several times. One of the male servers appeared to be mocking the women in Japanese. The men were generous with tips for the servers but we did not tip them at all. It was perplexing the sexist way in which we were treated. The appetizers were lovely and tasty and the entrees were amazingly good. We’ll definitely be back for more!
It is hit or miss, had reservations for 730 got seated at 8:00. The men in our group received free beers, I guess women can be seated late. Slow service, chef was wonderful.
