This diner is in downtown Pickerington in a cute little store front by the railroad tracks. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated in a typical small dinner motif. Open arriving we were both promptly greeted which left us akwardly standing at the front door. After several seconds a waitress told us to sit anywhere. The restaurant was a little cool than I like but on a hot day I would probably appreciate it. I ordered the special, breakfast burrito add sausage gravy. My wife had the 2x2x2 special. The food was okay nothing special about any of it. I felt the price was a little high due to both quality and quantity. If your going to go out and want to support small business it is an okay place to go, if you want good food at good value you might want to look elsewhere.

This is a wonderful treasure to find. I was doing some antique shopping and someone working there suggested the diner. It’s perfection. The kindest people and the most delicious down to earth food. Price was perfect. I wish these little diners with this kind of charming hospitality were everywhere. Takes you back to simpler times. It’s cash only but I don’t mind. Perfect spot to eat.

Their wheelhouse is breakfast, no doubt. And let’s be real, it’s a greasy spoon diner so it is what it is. I like the place, bacon, eggs, potatoes, omelets and french toast are all just what you’d expect. Lunch and dinner are ok. I’m alright with canned green beans and corn, I wont eat them at my house but I tell you, it reminds me of dinner growing up back in the late ’80s and early ’90s, just like Grandma used to get from Green Giant 🙂 We go here about once a month, mostly for breakfast. Tonight I’m trying the all you can eat fish!

Be very very careful what you order!!. This review encompasses two lunch visits. The 2 start rating is an average. Be very careful what you order here. Many things seem to be good and some are but many pitfalls are lurking. On my first visit I sat at the bar and could see everything going on in the kitchen. Let me say this. If it can be made ahead of time it is…then frozen. If it is not frozen it will come out of a can (green beans etc..) or it will come from a large plastic tub (think coleslaw at Sams Club). There is almost nothing here that is made the same day and left to simmer etc…I got the cabbage rolls. I was horrified when I saw them being pulled from the giant freezer in the back!! The green beans I ordered were scooped from a can and zapped in the microwave. The cole slaw was scooped from the aforementioned plastic tub. The cabbage rolls had some kind of a sawdust type material in them and one was still cold in the middle.Second visit was for the fried fish on a Friday. It was pretty good! I even got a few extra pieces when I said I did not want any slaw or other side dish. Bring your own tartar sauce though. The little plastic tubes of sauce are horrible.Look…Breakfast here is probably great. I mean you really can’t screw up eggs, pancakes, etc. Those items have to be made when they are ordered. Be careful about sandwiches also. I saw uniform, rounded off pieces of meat like turkey, roast beef etc. Once again think bulk purchases a la Sams Club!! Everything else….Well…Be very very careful!

Has potential to be a great dinner BUT failed to give decent service & quality of food was awful. Everything was drenched in margarine. The other comment was absolutely correct, this diner survives on an older crowd who are regulars. My boyfriend and I enjoy experiencing new places to eat, an this diner was not enjoyable. Atomosphere was not welcoming, maybe because we weren’t regulars? So rude! Don’t waste your time.

Not Awful. I was in the mood to try a new place that wasn’t just another franchise with the same boring menus. You could tell that they survive on their repeat customers from many years ago. I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant here.It isn’t the most up-kept diner. There was dust on the window sills and bread crumbs on a few seats. There were quite a few people here, mainly older people, eating breakfast, drinking coffee and chatting away at 1pm. A couple people came in and left with take-out. They have quite an interesting selection as you can see from the photos posted by someone. I was torn between breakfast and dinner. When we received ours meals, they obviously weren’t focusing on presentation. I dug right in and it tasted very homey. It wasn’t spectacular, but it was refreshing in it’s own way. I’m not sure if I see myself going there again anytime soon. I know I’d be disappointed if it was gone though.
