I would avoid if using open table as they do not honor those reservations. The level of rudeness we experienced was unreal, the staff sat others before us, and then said blah blah blah ……wtf whatever!
Food was good, but pricey. I would definitely not call the food Mediterranean. I got the cheese ravioli and my husband got the pork shoulder. The two dishes cost $50 and our two beers cost us $12.
Excellent !. The meal, atmosphere, service and food were excellent! We will be back for more!
Needs to improve service ASAP. We selected Adega to celebrate a family members birthday. The bar service was excellent and the aesthetics of the bar and restaurant were impressive. Although we had reservations, we waited an additional 15 minutes to be seated. The front desk staff never checked with us and appeared unprofessional and/or unpolished. When we were finally seated it took our server over 25 minutes to even check in with us – and only after we asked someone for assistance. When we finally were served our food – most was delicious. The poor service definitely detracted from the overall experience. Cleveland has other high end restaurants with superior food (RED, any Zach B restaurant etc) and exceptional service that I would not recommend Adega to a friend. A restaurant the attempts to command those prices should also prioritize the entire dining experience which includes service. We actually had to ask for water refills!!
New Foodie Haven on E 9th, A bit pricey. Fantastic food! I had the fig salad, chicken Francaise, and panna cotta. The Brussels sprouts are surprisingly delightful, delicately pan-fried with bacon, they are a definitely delicacy. The polenta is so creamy and flavorful. Panna cotta was somewhat strange with candied basil and rosewater. I’m a resident at the 9 so I imagine I’ll be eating here a lot though I think I will skip dessert. Menu is somewhat limiting if you eat here on a regular basis- hopefully they’ll be changing it seasonally. Although a bit pricey, the quality of the food is excellent.
