I know food. Worst restaurant experience ive ever had. Dirty napkins & utensils. Bait & switch with lunch and dinner menus. Food was deplorable.
Food was delicious but service was VERY SLOW. When we walked into the restaurant, we were seated fairly quickly. However, the table we sat at was very sticky. It was to the point that our coats, arms, money, reciepts, purses, and anything we put on the table stuck to it. After being seated, it took about 15 minutes for the waiter, who was very nice and helpful, to come and bring us menus. The waiter gave us menus; however, we did not see him for another 10 minutes. Once he returned, we ordered our food and drinks. We sat there patiently waiting for our drinks. After about 15-20 minutes, I got up and asked the bartender if we could at least have water. I also asked her how long our koolaids would take, which were delicious once we got them. The bartender brought our waters over and stated that the waiter was making our kool aids in a second. After that, the waiter brought our koolaids over about 10 minutes later. We then waited for our appetizers, which were delicious. Once our appetizers came out, the waiter had messed up the order;however, he quickly rectified the situation. After sitting there waiting for our appetizers, our food finally came, and at that point, the waiter told my friend that they ran out of her food. The food was delicious! Everything! We ended our night, by asking a different waitress to take our picture by the beautiful fire place, and she was completely rude. She made faces and was rude.
Stonetown service and food. We had a party of 10 for a Saturday night prior to the MAC championship final. We were seated in a timely manner, staff was very friendly, and they have guaranteed parking in the deck by the restaurant. The Sunrise beverage was wonderful and everyone else enjoyed their lemonades or mixes of lemonade and Kool-Aid. The appetizers and the main meals were great! The only thing I would comment otherwise on is the side salad lettuce had slight brown around the edges but was decent. Overall this was a great experience for the 10 of us and we would definitely go back.
I wish I had of went to the restaurant I had plan on going to. I was on my way to a restaurant to dine at, but since the weather was so cold I walked passed Stone town and went in. I had never heard of this place, but I thought what the heck. When I first walked in, I was greeted immediately by the host, which was cool. I was seated right next to the electric fireplace, and was told that someone would be with me shortly. I waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone returned to my table to ask me what I wanted. I saw the waitress walk out to another table to serve a couple and then walked back to the back of the restaurant or wherever she came from. She didn’t even speak to me, I assumed she the only waitress there because the place had only a few customers in it. Finally she comes back out almost 10 minutes later asking if everybody was ok. I’m looking at her like, no. She walks over to my table and asked me what was wrong. I told her that no one had took my order yet and I’ve sitting there for nearly 20 minutes. She apologized but I had a feeling that she really wasn’t sorry because she had the nerve to get a little attitude with me, like I was the problem. She took my order and it arrived like 10 minutes later.The food was not all that. I ordered some fried pork chops with gravy, mac &cheese, a salad and they gave me this corn bread with corn in it. The food was horrible. The pork chops were dry and the gravy was salty. The pork chops didn’t even looked fried, it looked baked. The mac &cheese was ok, I didn’t finish it because I was disappointed with the service and with the damned pork chops. The only thing that was good was the salad, which didn’t have anything on it but cheese and dressing. I know I’ve written a lot here, but it just goes to show how disappointed a customer really was. And hopefully it will get better. I just know I will not be returning there in the near future.
Awesome!. Amazing service and great food. I enjoyed everything especially the real kool-aid!! Definitely a must try!
Service. This was my first time at Stonetown and it’s my last the service was so bad no it was beyond bad and the manager had to be the worst manager in the WORLD! With the service we received I don’t see them being in business long places with bad service ALWAYS GO UNDER FAST!! So I hope they enough the time they have cause I don’t see them being there once their lease is up!! Don’t waste your time going there!!!
Poor. Terrible experience. My family and I were seated quickly, but then it took 15 minutes to get water and menus. Our waitress came back to get our order, the only time she would talk to us for the next hour and 15 minutes. Finally, one of my family members went to talk to the manager about our food. When the waitress finally brought food, it was only half the order and she’d forgotten what my order even was. The food was nothing to write home about.Overall: worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We waited an hour and a half for our food when the restaurant was not busy. The waitress did the absolute bare minimum. I will not be going back.
