Sitting at a table and just got in an argument about a banner covering windows blocking TVS during game 1 of world series. To be fair, we moved the banner without asking and they replaced it higher to block more tvs. Customer service is dead.
It was busy but the staff seemed plentiful. Not much for a friendly greeting. The waitress didn’t know a lot about the menu or beer being served. Burgers were very good. FF were cold on my plate and right out of the fryer on my husbands. When I said something to the waitress she said she knew. Price was fair. Probably wouldn’t go again.
The good:1. Good crowd of office-goers during lunch (usual event-crowd during event-evenings)2. You have a high chance of being interviewed by a TV channel – either local, or depending on what’s at stake, national.3. Even though food is third in this list, that does not mean they compromise on the quality or quantity of food. I have always had great food there.4. The waiters and bar tenders are friendly and helpfulThe bad:Watered down drinks during happy hours as well as regular hours!!
Every body is right. The food is decent but the service is terrible. Went there for dinner on Friday evening. The place was not crowded at all. When we were seated we waited fifteen minutes without being greeted or offered a drink. I ended up ordering drinks at the bar and awaiting another ten before deciding to sit at the bar. Even then the service was slow. As to the food, it was pretty good. The pulled pork was big and delicious. The ribs and chicken were a bit dry but we’re full of smoky goodness. The corn on the cob was a real surprise. It was delicious. This place also has a good draft list. The service is what kept it down. As we were leaning, my girlfriend found the easier in the bathroom texting. Maybe that is why we couldn’t get any food or drinks… Too bad.
Food was a classic bar food and the beer list was excellent. 3 stars because the service was terrible. There were maybe 4 tables in the whole place with people rerun and the waitress wasn’t paying attention to us at all. We had to call over the bus boy once to get us drinks and even the manager came by when he saw us sitting at the table with empty glasses and plates for an extended period of time.
Food is mediocre – service was not good at all. We waiting for 35 mins for a drink and were ignored most of the night, even though it was not busy at all – fine for a quick bite but I probably wouldn’t come back. massmusings.com
Try something else. While this place offers a decent variety of beers, their food and service is lacking. Their food is actually the same as other winking lizard establishments, but perhaps leadership is lacking?All in all, service sucks
