Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse. Thank God for Bob’s Big Boy! We went to Phil’s because it was close to the hotel and wasn’t fast food. We got in ordered cocktails from the hostess, as the waitress was missing in action. While we were waiting for the second round that my husband had to go to the bar to order, the waitress appeared. At that point after watching her approach coughing her lungs out while covering her mouth with her hand we decided that Bob’s across the street might be fast but it had to be cleaner.

I’m confused as to why people rave about this place. The sauce is terrible, and the service is labile at best. Probably the last place I would choose to eat at in Port Clinton.
A special place with great food and a special sauce that i have never tasted anywhere else
GOTTA GO THERE. We’ve been eating at Phil’s since high school–a long, long time ago. Still a super place to eat every time we come back to Port Clinton for a visit.
Great food and nice staff. On our way to Lakeside we also stop at Phil’s Inn. Love the Ravioli.
