This place used to be great- years ago before the moved from their old location. They had a great lunch buffet. My fave used to be the pepper steak. It was prepared with something that actually could be identified as real beef! The sauce was succulent. General Tso’s was good, too. I went many times after they moved and finally quit going. Service and food quality went downhill. Plus the small dining room is uncomfortable.
Our family has gone to Double Dragon for years. Double Dragon has been a favorite restaurant of ours since our daughter was 5 years old (now 19). The owners Tom and Amy, and their staff, are incredibly nice! As many years as we have gone there, they are like family to us. Highly recommend the Margarita, too!25 Mar, 2015Spicy Orange Chicken with Fried Rice
Take out: nice there is a drive-thru. Unfortunately that’s where the good stops. Won ton soup nothing to rave about. General Tso’s ok. Wor sue gui thick with yellow goop and rice portion tiny. Egg rolls were mushy and insides bland. Maybe dinning in is a better choice but it will be a long time before in try it. Sorry restaurant but it just wasn’t good on this day.
After many years of patronage looking the other way on customer service because the food was good, I am done. After returning home with my order today I was short a couple eggrolls. My mother returned to the restaurant and was told we are mistaken and should go look at home. After going home searching the containers and boxes we called back . We were again told they put them in and didn’t know what we did with them. We were basically called liars for two bucks in eggrolls. We also were not reimbursed! No concern over arguing with a weekly customer that buys dinner for five!
Take out x2. I have tryed the doouble dragon two times now and have not been inpresed! both times i take out they mess up some part of it. the food all tast the same, the fried noodles were stale! we have tryed them twice and will never eat there agion. an to top it off the price is a way to high!!!
Small clean restaurant with…. Small, clean restaurant with friendly service and excellent food. Bright, chearful atmosphere. Also good for take out including drive through window.
The Best Chinese West of East Broadway. For an old New Yorker driving across the country, this is an amazing find. Everything is fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fried pork dumplings, sauteed stringbeans, and family-style tofu with brown sauce are favorites. The owner and her staff are personable and efficient. It’s off the beaten path — and you won’t regret the trip.
