Great Choice for Great Food. We’ve been going here for a few years. Have never had a bad meal and doubt we ever will. The items we’ve tried never cease to amaze our taste buds! We like to order different menue items and share the exciting flavors~
OMG. Im on my way there right now ive been there tons of time it gets better and better Its so good! The price could decrease a little but the yum yum and the chicken steak and veggies with rice and shrimp fantastic Listen to this review because the other negtives ones are back in 2009 and 2011 and 2012 its about to be 2014 and they improved a lot if I say so myself…
I have been eating here since 1993 when it was on Livingston Ave. The the food and the service has gone down. If I go it will only be for lunch because I refuse to pay for rude service (management.) The management is so bad in this establishment it effects the. other employees and they’re not as friendly as they use to be. Management acts as if we’re their for them forget what the customers want. They push us out the door as soon as the cook leaves the table. If you go to another Japanese Steak House you’ll notice Genji serves poor quality meat but gets away with it because we all drown it in yum yum sauce. You work hard for your money. We deserve quality service and food.
No Cold Soba for You!. My usual request for a lunch time cold soba noodle platter with dipping sauce was, once again, DENIED! I offered to pay double, too. They escorted me out, the three of those big men, out to the sidewalk in front of all those people, too. Still, the atmosphere was charming enough that I’ll be back.
Used to be my favorite…. I used to love Genji but the competition has just gotten better. The food quality has decreased and location is a major problem. Prices are expensive when compared to other steakhouses. Iron Chef in Pickerington is now the best Japanese Steakhouse on the east side.
Bum’s rush with boxes provided. Fun but very disappointing. Will NOT go back there again. Talk about the bum’s rush! As soon as food was on plate they brought the check, with the already-added gratuity and suggestion I up it to 18%, circled. The waitress asked me twice if I wanted a box, WHILE I was still eating. I was hoping one of the three greeters/managers at the door would ask me how my meal was when I left but they didn’t stop talking to each other long enough to glance up. All for $32 for one person!
