Overpriced for what one gets quantity and quality wise. Granted, it’s not garbage, but it’s not outstanding either. About Applebee’s quality.
I love this place…always a great meal and a fabulous drink
Hickory House is the best!!!!. The Hickory House is one of my favorite restaurants! They have great steaks and ribs. Also, some really good new Happy Hour specials! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal with their family or friends. The bar is also a very fun place to eat. Very good bartenders and great people are there all the time!
Porterhouse & Ribs Awesome. We tried the Hickory House in Reynoldsburg last night 5/29 after several co-workers recommended this family owned restaurant. We both had a porterhouse and rib dinner and it was great. The porterhouse filled my husbands plate, and the ribs fall off the bone. The Bar-que sauce a little sweet, but very good. The service was right on, and the manager came over to the table to introduce himself, nice touch. We will be back
Best BBQ. My family and I love going to the Hickory House for BBQ. It is a family friendly atmosphere with great food! The staff is always accommodating (especially since we have a young child and always seem to need extra of everything!!). The ribs and pulled pork sandwich are my two favorite menu items. The bbq sauce is to die for, sweet enough with a slight kick to it!! I would definitely recommend the Hickory House for a great dinner out!
Pass on this one. This has to be one of the worst restaurants in Columbus. Decor is dated and dirty, and the menu is small and old. Fake BBQ…not a piece of Hickory anywhere in the building. Meats are steamed gray, then smothered in this putrid sweet sauce, mixed with a ton of liquid smoke! Repulsive…it made me gag. Baked potato was small, cold, and shriveled up…yuck. Salads were wilted and brown, like they were made up the day before…puke. Service also sucked. Had to wait for things the server should have already brought out, and get her attention for refills. I will never go back. If you want good que, try Smokey Bones or Logans Road House for much better grub.
Service is decent, but food is Applebees quality at a much higher price. Not worth the money.
