I just picked my husband up from the airport after not seeing him for a week and wanted a nice dinner out. Unexpectedly family from out of town who was working in the area and was a little dirty from the work wanted to see us and go to dinner. We already had planned on Olive garden and they wondered if we would be embarrassed because they was a little dirty. Of coarse we wouldn’t be. So as we asked for a table the lady who was going to seat us looked at my 2 family members up and down and had a roll of the eyes. I watched this and was ready to flip but I bit my lip. We were seated and we sat for at least 20 minutes. No one ever come for a drink order or nothing. We seen people come in be seated after us given drinks and their orders be taken. My family member even ordered a drink from the at the table thing and nothing no one come. We weren’t acknowledged at all. So we decided to leave. I stopped at the desk and told the girl whose doing the seating and the girl who looked down on my family I didn’t appreciate the dirty looks and not being waited on. The girl was a little snooty assuring me olive garden doesn’t discriminate. Of coarse someone like us are never discriminated for any reason. But my family was. I didn’t say a word to hurt my family at what I witnessed being done to them I am not mean or cruel. We went to another Italian restaurant in which we spent a large amount of money for the 4 of us to eat and gladly tipped the waitress well for her great service to us. Someone missed out and sadly I will have to go elsewhere to olive garden or any other Italian place if this is how you treat hard working people who may not meet your standards. This is not acceptable no matter if your rich poor black brown white pink or purple tall short skinny or fat brown hair blond hair purple hair handicapable or not gay or straight. Waitresses waiters host and hostesses needs to look past whatever their personal standard are when working at a public place. I wouldn’t have taken time to write this had this not really broke my heart to see. I’ve been to this place before and have been treated great but I’m sure we would have been had the circumstances been different. I’ve worked with people who refuses to wait on people who are hard working blue collar people. Their money is just as good as any one else.

Well. I don’t expect Italian food here, but I expect decent food and service. I got neither here. The food was… edible and the service was almost Caribbean in its sloth.

Wonderful Waitress. We love the Olive Garden in Reynoldsburg. They are always friendly and right on top of things. All of the staff are very professional and take very good care of us, but tonight we had a waitress who went beyond caring and friendly. Her name is Jessica, I don’t know her last name but she has very dark hair and she was very neatly dressed, red lipstick and very pretty, nice makeup and a very friendly voice and was a very good people person. We sat in a booth in the bar area because it was so busy and I am glad we did. I wish I knew her last name because she deserves to be rewarded for how great she was with every customer in the area. You don’t get service like that everyday and I think people that go over and above should be rewarded. I hope you do something great for her as I know being a waitress is not always an easy job but she is so good at it and she loves her job. Warren Goble (the guy she said looked like her doctor as a child) and myself Debbie Brown were in on Tuesday January 28th around 7-8pm. We just wanted to let the manager of that Olive Garden know what great service we got from Jessica. We will be sure to ask for her on our next visit. She is one great employee. Thank You, Warren Goble and Debbie Brown
